Anyone ever been to Windham Mountain in NY?
I've never been there but am trying to plan a trip there either this weekend or next. Any comments on it? How are the trails and do they have a park with rails/boxes/kickers?

Ive been to Windham a bunch of times.
Its not bad for an NY mountain. Definitely better than Hunter, which is filled with a million beginners who are learning. Its also way better than Mt. Creek which is too tiny. Dont expect Vermont quality. The park has some good features and there all over the mt, you just got to know where to look. Cant imagine their conditions being to good presently. Should consider the extra driving time to Vermont and enjoy it more. |

Trails are fine too. Nothing difficult really depending on your level.

I like Windham a lot. Huge variety up in NY, for just a bit longer drive than Camelback or Mt. Creek. Haven't hit up Hunter yet, but I've heard Windham > Hunter. It's a nice, large mountain not too far away, but can't touch VT unless VT conditions are utterly crap.

agreed that windham doesn't compare to vermont. but definitely better than hunter imo. It has a little more variety and some pretty good runs. It does offer night boarding but sucks because it only goes up to middle of the mountain not the top. and they give student discounts. which is a plus

It has a couple parks with small jumps. Not comparable to VT mountain, but still lots of fun if you try to practice with small jumps and butter.
