Anyone have any ideas on some cool flatland progressions?
Here are a couple I've been working on 1. Linked Toe to Toe - FS 180's such that you are always on your toeside edge (reg to switch, switch to reg) 2. Linked Heel to Heel - BS 180's so that you are always on your heelside edge 3. Ollie to 90 degree nose butter, pretzel 270 out then a cab 1, or a cab 3 ... AASI examiner then pushed me to add a tripod at the end of this. [fyi ... 1-3 are AASI staple "stupid human tricks" ... if anyone is going to take an exam] 4. Pop butter - just a ollie, FS 90 degrees, pop off the nose, another 90 degrees then come out switch. 5. FS tail press 360 to stall, to BS tail press 360 -- that stall is harder than I thought. basically, after the first 180, I use my tail edge to create the stall and I need that whole 1/2 rotation to stop and then turn the other way. Any one else have a cool one to share ... if you have video, more power to you ... link it up.

for 1-2 i assume you're not doing full rotations, for example front 180 than cab front 180 and on.?
number 3 - do you mean nose blunt to 270 out? as for number 5 I'm lost what you trying to say.. |

hey clee ... yes not full rotations. yes on the nose blunt too.
for #5, try tail pressing then rotating 360 ... stall the board, then rotate 360 the other way, all on your tail. you got any good ones?

Flat ground frontside 5's are fun. I wish I could flat ground back 5. Ben lynch can flat ground back 7. He's so dope on a board.

for cab just think of it as opposite of your normal stance and pretzel is when you're doing a board slide and doing 270 off opposite way spin from getting on.
also its impossible for someone to do 7's on straight out flat, unless you're doing it off some sort of bump or roller or steep enough down hill. |

those are rotation terms, like 180 is half rotation 360 is full rotation 540,720,900 ect... so 5's are 540 7's are 720 2full rotation.
