In march, Utah got some good powder. Nothing compared to my spring break though.
Its april 1 and I look out my window and I see 7 inches of powder on my deck and in my backyard. At first I honestly thought someone was pranking me. But it was not so. What a great way to start off spring huh? Oh wait, it gets better. After hitting a great day of powder at snowbird, I couldn't imagine another powder day. Well that was thursday, (i think). Friday I went to bird again with my same friend and some other kids. It was packed. It was sunny. It was fun. There were little places of powder everywhere, I guess it snowed overnight. Anyway the powder was hit up way to fast and we left pretty early. Saturday, we didnt go. Sunday... I look out my window, what do I see? Another 5 inches of freaking powder. I cant wait till monday. (mormon, i dont go boardin on sunday). Goin up monday It starts to HAIL on the way up there. Yea hail, the size of air soft pellets. The powder was so much different from usual utah powder. It was like sand. If you could mix sand and snow together it was like this. It was epic. Probably a foot of untouched sand pow. I wish I had some pics to show ya guys. But alas all good things must come to an end. This time, by lightning. Lol, what? Yep lighting and thunder eventually closed snowbird. Definatly good while it lasted. But just as i start to thing that there will be no more snow, I looked out of my window this morning. 3-4 inches of new snow. My backyard is filled after all these storms. I skipped school today to go to bird. Once again like monday it was not packed, and super powdery. To put it short, amazing. Oh and this isnt going to end either!! According to the news, its supposed to storm from today till next thursday. As in9 days from now. I cant wait... You should get your butt down to utah. More snow in April is expected than all of the "winter" put together. Screw el nino. Our winter sucked. But now its Spring, and it looks better than ever. Big smile

Same thing here at Steven's Pass. Started out a bit crummy but there has been tons of snow lately. So much that the hours of operation has been changed a few times.
