I got wrong. not Australia, but too close - New Zealand. They made sign language an official language. =)
I'm not experienced with Poland mountains and they aren't in my current plans =) I want to try Georgia. It's more expensive that Ukraine, but less than other Europe... + they respect other languages like english, ukrainian etc... :P |

Yeah I'm planning a trip to go. But I no idea of prices.
What are prices for lift passes, housing, food, transport and partying? What is the easiest or cheapest way of getting there?

sharpmeadow: I wrote about prices on the previous page. If You want to know anything else - let me know.
I was getting there from Kiev (capital of Ukraine) by the train to Ivano-Frankivsk. Next steps of getting there You can read from one of my previous posts. I think, that was "the easiest and cheapest way". |

My new board has arrived just yesterday... I'm waiting for snow now.. But seem like it will take long to wait...

I hope, snow will be here in a few weeks, first s**t snow:-) But it will be snow:-) Realy, board from sierra? Which board did you purchased? I am still waiting for new bindings. Last year in Italy somebody stoled my board, so I buy new one and I haven´t order bindings in time. Then, it were late:-( But 2011 bindings from burton looks great. I can´t wait for it here on Sierra. I am going to Swiss again in February, but that´s short time, I´d like to go somewhere to abroad for a week, poland, UA, don´t know for what I want to decide:-)

If you want, you can come to Prague and come with us to Scuol. Accomodation for 170 dollars, skipass for 300 dollars including entries to thermal pools etc...Everything is for a week...

LImited 4 You... not a very popular brand, but quiet fair price)
I've already discovered some about Scoul, but it's really sooooo far))) I think of going to Slovakia or Poland, it's much closer and pretty affordable.

I usually use forwarder "Shipito". they are pretty cool and not expensive. I'm waiting snowboard boots from them now =)
With snowboard there is a problem to ship to Ukraine not only because Sierra doesn't ship, but because USPS doesn't ship snowboards =((( (they are too long for regular parcels) Shipito propose to ship snowboards to Ukraine via Fedex (at least 250 bucks))) or via Polonez Parcel (cheap, but long - around 4 monthes by sea). This time I ship via some other company (dunno its name, because my friend ship it to me). I think shipping by sea will cost aroung 50 bucks. |

It is the same like in Czech republic. It is bad, for ex. Burton hero costs here 164 dollars and in CZ almost 600 dollars. That isn´t normal! And finally, the board was made in Austria, Innsbruck, which is 450km from Prague:-) I don´t understand: it :-)
