Gonna be in Tahoe in Mid June and was looking for some stuff to do. I figured with some many locals on here this would be a great place for advise. Gonna be staying in South Tahoe. Any info would be appreciated.

I'd rent a boat and go on the lake, myself.

You could go stand up paddle boarding I have seen rentals for those in South Lake. I think I have also seen parasailing.

I suggest going para-sailing on the lake. You get some awesome views and
it's a great way to spend the afternoon. They also have some awesome
sunset tours around the lake if you want something romantic to do :]
Other than that: great hiking, mountain biking, jet skiing, tubing, kayaking, etc. I also suggest a trip to the burger lounge if you like burgers. It is amazing and pretty cheap. |

As typical as it sounds - head out to emerald bay. Park at Vikingsholm and walk down. You can pick up some other trails from there if you feel like hiking.
It's just a nice little easy hike, and you get to see some really great stuff. You can also go just past the Vikingsholm lot, and go down to DL Bliss state park. Go in there, and ask for a map - and take the Rubicon Trail/Lighthouse hike. Also super super cool. You end up walking along a cliff right above the lake. On the way out there, you'll take route 50 towards myers, and turn right at Route 89. Before you get to Emerald bay, you'll pass Camp Richardson which has some decent stuff going on. There's a few beaches there - as well as a historical site that has some of the old original mansions and summer homes right along the water near Pope Beach. Across the street is camp richardson stables. You can roll up and go horseback riding up into the mtns pretty cheap. Obviously - you also have the beaches down there which are always good times. Right on the beach near Camp Rich is the beacon (bar/resteraunt). Nice place to go and get a couple beers and just hang out by the water. That's just the couple things I can think of off the top of my head that's easy to explain to someone online. There's so much stuff you can do there cheap/easy - without spending a ton of money renting a boat or something. |

jet ski, biking, hiking, swimming, rock climbing, golfing, para-sailing, take the big-o boat to northshore, camping, winning, and no losing. I've seen people walking back on the 50 picking up every can and bottle on the way.

If you are staying at the Marriot you can call ahead and they will call you at your room when a table is ready. Otherwise if it's busy you can wait upwards of 2hrs for a table.
