Double whammy, seems to be the most value for you money. I'm going back to school next year too so I can now get a student discount.

Heavenly for me.

$339 right now with $49 down. It's a renewal for me. I love that mountain and we've got a cabin right on the bend.

Plus I like to party :)

+1, add to that the best and most snow!
alpine, squaw and sugarbowl passes are too expensive. Northstar/sierra too crowded. boreal, donner too small. heavenly too far. kirkwood wins!

Assuming you're not stuck in line for 3/4ths of the day...

N* and Sierra are fun on weekdays... they can get to be nigh unrideable on weekends if you don't pony up for Vertical Plus.

If I were still in Norcal,  I would get the Kirkwood pass and get a few buddies to go with me.  Either that or pony up a little bit more and get one of the lower level Squaw passes (stoked you necessarily need $1200 to get a pass there any more).

ROLL ON, BISHES.

Sierra Snowboard fully supports a 2011 Northstar/ Sierra at Tahoe Season Pass with Vertical Plus.

WANT TO BUY A 2011 PASS NOW?

Double Whammy Season Pass Steals for Sierra Snowboard Customers!  Purchase now to get the best deal of the season!

Ski or Ride Both the North Shore and South Shore for only $359!  That includes TWO resorts, 5,000 acres, 138 trails, 29 lifts, and 14 terrain parks!   Starting March 29, 2010 – when you purchase a 2010.11 Double Whammy® season pass  valid at both Sierra-at-Tahoe® & Northstar-at-Tahoeâ„¢ Resorts you can ski free for the rest of the 2009-10 season!

Another incentive to buy early is the savings – by purchasing before April 30, 2010, skiers and snowboarders can save up to $50. Guests can also turn in their same-day lift ticket for up to $30 credit toward a 2010-2011 season pass. Season pass rates will increase on May 1, 2010!

Get Rewarded!

Passholders can add Vertical Plusâ„¢ to any pass for $159. The Vertical Plus frequent skier/rider program allows snowsporters to accumulate vertical feet for each day they ski or ride. Members earn great awards, receive discounts, enjoy priority lift lines and more!

New this year, those who just want access to priority lift lines all season long – without the other benefits of Vertical Plus – are invited to add a Fast Pass to their season pass for just $99.

For more information or to purchase a Double Whammy pass, visit www.doublewhammypass.com, call Northstar Resort at 530.562.2267 or Sierra Resort at 530.659.7453 x208, or stop in at the Tickets & Season Pass office at either resort.

Yea.  I think they realized (especially after the 50 anniversary pass this year) that they can't compete with Northstar on catering specifically to locals and vacationers.

I'm a weekend warrior too :-(

However regarding the black out dates being crappy days to go. . . I was at Sierra X-Mas weekend and New Years Eve and both had very little lift lines! It was just some random weekends later in the season that sucked being packed with people, no way to call really!

I don't care for FlatN* much, so I just got the 7 day wit restriction for $279. and all restriction has been lifted. I was thinking bout the $199 sun. - fri. wit restrictions but I go on sat. so I didn't do $199.

So, what did you guys have to do to get the college pass? And at which resort? Sounds ridiculous what they wanted me to do when I read up on it on their site.

Man, are all American season tickets this cheap?

I'm looking at $659 for a season pass in Alberta for Sunshine Banff, Lake Louise is 639, Nakiska is 459.

boreal college passes:

College student season pass to Boreal is available for $159. Valid Monday through Friday (day and night), and during weekday holidays.

HAHAHAHA

More reading fine print, less claiming.

My boreal pass is unlimited, not a college.

I did the 1-2-3 ride free program last year and they sent me a special offer to buy next seasons pass for $159.

That doesn't seem like it's worth it...

15 * 8.5 = 127.5 Hours

Figure most jobs pay at least  8 bucks...so 8 * 127.50 = $1,020 even after taxes it seems like you're better off working for a couple weeks and just buying the pass.

I'll end up with a Northstar pass again.  Had a Squaw one this year, pretty much a waste of money up until this point.

Why was the squaw pass a waste of money?
