^^^ Blame Bettman for the TV bullshit for you guys.  You can always stream off CBC.ca, if you want.

Mike Bolt (stanley cup caretaker) has the best job in the world.  I love the segment they will do when the cup arrives.

I hope it's going to be a nail biter.... 1 goal, low scoring game.
Nobody wants to watch one team totally dominate the other.  No entertainment value in that.

Okay, well maybe some people do.. :)

So excited!

Epic fail ... the Flyers beat the Rangers in the last game of the regular season in a shootout to win a playoff spot (whoever won the game got the last playoff spot). The Flyers barely made it in and now they're two wins away from the cup haha! Anyways, the Rangers are not a part of the poll because they didn't qualify for the playoffs....

Also, I predict the Flyers win 2-1 tomorrow to force game 7. Too many high scoring games so far in this series; we're about due for a low scoring slug fest.

^^HAHAHA--way to go EpicFAIL! That's hilarious.

hahah EpicFAIL that was pretty good

but solid game for Chicago last night, it should be a close one for game 6...by the way things ended last night the game will go 4-3, not too sure on the winner right now, i was leaning towards philly winning at home...but i have a feeling chicago is gonna be hungry to finish them off, dustin byfuglien is gonna win the game for the chicago

I dunno, Bisket. Chicago looked about as sloppy as Philly. I loved watching the Hawks all season, but the issue I'm seeing with them in the playoffs is that they don't play a full 60 minutes. Philly had no business even getting close last game, yet they lapsed and were allowed back in the game several times. This shouldn't have happened, period.
I get the feeling the home team will win each game. I think Philly will take game 6 with a 3-2 score on Wednesday.
I have a great sense of humour. I'm also entitled.

yea i can see what you saying, they really shouldnt have let philly come back, but at the same time thats how philly is...they always nag the opposing team until they get themselves back into the game

I very well see Philly winning at home as i said before...i just think tomorrow will be a change of pace (from all these home wins) and chicago will play like they did in the first period so they can raise the CUP

Yeah, game 5 was a lot closer than the final score indicated. Chicago was brilliant at points but surprisingly sloppy at times as well. Game 5 basically boiled down to Niemi making some really sick saves at just the right moments (I think Mike Richards would have buried that nasty one-timer shot on a lot of other goalies).

The goat of this series for Philly is Leighton and Pronger. Leighton was awful in game 1 of the series, brutal in game 5, and then let that horrific bad angle shot in OT in.
Pronger couldn't stay out of the box in game 5 and was in the box for a goal tonight too, not somewhere your best d-man should be in finals.

Are you kidding me Scorer? The last THREE goals were softies! Really, those should not have gone in.
Congratulations to the Hawks and their fans. It's been a loooooooooooong time coming. Good to see they learned from last year. It was a great series and a great battle. Too bad the goalies stunk up the house. Niemi saved the bacon when it counted in this game and therefore is the champ.

I wouldn't call the deflection goal a softie at all, the fiver was for sure, as was the gamewinner.
Either way they woulnt have been better off with Boucher, i cant believe that guy is still in the league.
As for Niemi, he didn't light it up in the series too much either. Numerous times tonight Philly had more than great opportunities to score and shot it directly into Niemi even when he was flailing out of position. But in the end was goo enough to get the job done.
I'm just here to look cool...

Man that was a great game yesterday! i predicted the score right this time, for once haha ...chicago had control of most of that game until the end and i wasnt sure if they were gonna hold on at the end but after a minute of OT they turned things around and showed they deserved that game.

Beautiful move and shot by Kane at the end, soon as he got it i knew he would end it, his style of play is perfect for OT.  Congrats to the hawks for their great season!...and even to the flyers, the players and fans were classy last night despite their loss to the blackhawks

that was a great win, that overtime winner from Kane was very reminiscent of Crosby's winner in the olympics.

congrats to the hawks & their fans.

now the leafs have the dubious distinction of being the team with the longest cup drought, with no end in sight. it's great being a leafs fan!

Yeah, booing Conn Smythe trophy winner Toews as he received his trophy was totally classy.

I totally thought Philly was going to pull something out when they put it into OT, but it seems that the Hawks didn't get phased by it and brought the cup to their town!  in the back of my mind i was like... make it double.. no triple ot! after 3, the tension is not as high cause i get sleepy...haha

all in all it was a great game and a great series. as every stanely cup final should be!
