i wish we had a cool boarding forum based in australia...there's lots of internet arguing on that site.. and sometimes you wanna put your 2 cents in... but i always lose arguments...so i don't try =/ haha

Going to be riding in nz aug 2-10, then Utah in Jan feb 2011. Don't ride in oz so much, way too expensive for what you get, it's a shame. looked at perisher for this season and it's costing me less for all expenses (flghts,car, lifts,accom) to head to nz. Not sure about Vic (hotham etc) prices, prob just as exxy I'd think. Got us by the balls!

Anyone keen to meet in nz or Utah (the greatest!!!), just say the word.

Yeh i saw a price for 7 days to NZ including flight, accomodation, car hire and lift passes for $900 today on the net...way cheaper than going here.

hahaha Swift isnt really all that close they are pretty much in the middle of SA its like 6hrs West of Radelaide.

I'm from Melbourne as well.  Did my ankle in last week, so I'm not sure if I'm gonna be able to hit the snow this season (totally blows cos I just bought new skis), but fingers crossed.

Nah, I was rock climbing (bouldering) in the grampians.  It was really stupid, got essentially to the top, but was feeling a bit sketchy about the last move and didn't want to take a fall, so I downclimbed and jumped off from what I thought was a safe height, but landed on a branch and ruptured a ligament.  Its particuarly annoying because my mate tried that same route later and said the top out was the easiest part. 

But its healing pretty rapidly now, so thats good.

@Occy - hahah :D .. Yeah i know Jay, and a few of his graf mates. I met him through a guy that i use to drift with that worked at the mechanics beside his work. :)

Im from the Gold Coast... Sucks that we barely get cold weather up here but i manage to spend most of july and all december and january in the snow each year... frothing the up coming season!
