Wodonga... close to falls.

Might be waiting a while i reckon.  Looking at the charts i don't think we'll see much until late June - early July.  I reckon temps will be a problem too this season.  Will be plenty of rain, just not enough snow.

dude that sounds like the best plan ever. I wished my friends were as interested in snowboarding as i was. Im heading to nz in late july and non of my friends are/were keen on it.. im gonna be a loner for my first snowboarding experience.

First time to the snow up at hotham this year. Cant blody wait to give it a crack! Worth taking a day or two of lessons? Dont know if it makes much difference but i surf weekly so reckon the balance would help?

I wakeboard a lot and ride goofy...I found it took about half a day for me to get toeside down-pat. After that it was awesome snow fun!

Biggest hurdle I faced was getting that equal amount of weight distribution between both feet, as I was predominantly weighted in the back foot through Wakeboarding.

Went to Hotham for opening weekend and stayed at a mates lodge which was awesome.
Bit Icy though :(

going upto buller next month for a week 18th - 25th.

If anyone wants to split fuel costs for day trips to Buller, Hotham or Falls PM Away! i want to get out as much as possible this year!

Oh and to the guy that did his ankle... I fractured my ankle 2 weeks ago and got 2nd degree sprain with some torn ligaments (jumped down some 12 steps while drunk lol) anyway i was still able to board on sunday... only problem was the lifts, getting on and off with the board hanging on that foot was bloody painfull lol
