What annoys yu on a chairlift-

when stupid kids yell down advice to other people or when people go "OOOOOOOoooooooOOOOOO" when someone eats it

when the wind blows so hard that i can't light up my cigarette =P

Lets see, Ive fallen off the lift before so I cant hate when people do that b/c we all have. I do hate when the lift has to stop for any reason b/c I just wanna get as many runs in as possible. I also do hate when people fall in front of the lift and dont try to get out the way. If you do fall, cool, just act like you dont want me to run you over. I dont wanna try to dodge you while im exiting.

Yeah they did at Hemlock at least. So the lift stopped for every chair to get loaded, and every chair to unload.

As far as the smoking in front of you comments, I wasn't going to say anything, but I'm not a fan of it either. Yes you're outside, but the person behind you is going to be right where you were smoking. Not really a big deal, just not fond of it.

Punk kids that have headphones around their necks, blasting garbage music. You are not a jukebox, turn down the volume and put the damn headphones over your ears. lol

skiers putting their poles down on my board

when strange divorced dudes start stretching next to me, by hanging on the support bar.

people who smoke on the lift. I came out here to enjoy the outdoors.. wonderful view and nice clean air.. not your cigs.

in all seriousness though - mine is when you're at a resort that absolutely requires you to pack as many people on a lift as possible, when there's no line. I mean, is it really necessary for you to put me (goofy) on a lift sandwiched between  a guy riding a regular snowboard on one side, and two beginner skiers? Are you trying to cause a trainwreck at the top of the lift?

I agree with lots of these, but one additional thing... I hate when people litter off the lift. It's like, seriously? Come on. We want to keep enjoying nature, not your trash.

oh another this isnt really when im on the chair lift but when skiers have snow on top of their skis and they shake it off when you ride under them i hate that so much

I agree syphus. How could I forget the crowds that love to hang out at the top and bottom of the lifts. If your not going to ride the lift up then go stand OUT OF THE WAY. And if your waiting for your friends to get off the next chair, standing 10 feet in front of the drop point is not going to make them get there any faster.

several things i hate about the time on the chairlift,

1. kids i sit next to like to squirm around on the lift and then always gets in my way or grab my jacket when getting off.

2.adults i sit next to always complain that they dont like to have the safety bar down because its uncool, but in reality i want it down because i want to rest my board on it and give my legs a rest so i dont have to drag a heavy board.

3. people asking me to take a pic for them

4. people moving a whole bunch to take a pic of a friend in the lift ahead or behind

5. the long way up there and you just have like a big 5 minutes to yourself

6. the lift stopping every 10 seconds for other people meanwhile my face is freezing in the air

i hate when there are long lines and one of the chair lifts decided to stop working - so the lines are even longer...

oh....and people going on runs that are way to advanced for them - they all end up falling down around a curve or something like that and you end up with a clusterfk of downed boarders/skiers you have to dodge and dip around

what an a-hole, i dont mean to come at you like that.. but i hate people like that. People who throw snowballs at people when someones just trying to enjoy their time. Doesnt matter if its a snowboarder or a skiier, chucking snowballs at them for no apparent reason is such a pu$$y move, ESPECIALLY from a chairlift..
