I can not begin to describe how awesome the Sierra crew is. From riders to staff who all made it possible, I had so much fun this weekend. It still not over as I have E13, Migs, and Rexy at my house right now and we are trying to figure out how to stagger to Mt. Hood right now.
But seriously, we all know Jenn is the motherfreaking Queen of the world for all the work she puts into organizing these events. I know its Mike's ugly face on it, but we all know that none of these would go down like they do wtihout Jenn. So take a moment during the day to raise a glass to her for being the most awesome ever. Big thanks to Big Mike, who not only created the greatest community of snowboarders ever, but also invented the foulest, nastiest swear word in history this weekend. I think two people actually cried when he uttered it and Levi might need therapy. He did the math with the keg count and figured over 100 gallons of alcohol was consumed in a lodge that had something like 70 people staying in it. I'm going to be really nice to all of our wonderful community members who made the events so much fun. I will hold back on storytime for now until more pics start getting posted. Jenn, I know you go the goods! Get those things up here! |

Oh, couple highlights:
Chasing Dlaw through a parking lot, up and down the sidewalk and pretty much all the way to In and Out Burger with five people inside my Avalanche as we attempted to hit him with a water bottle. No Dlaw's were harmed in the event, but it was hilarious. Somehow Stass ended up being the one who got doused with water. Zoe actually tanned, I will post the picture of her tanning as soon as I get it. Not naming any names, but just because you were drunk, doesn't mean we won't make fun of you and post pictures of it................... I think my Snuggie is pregnant MTpow can sleep through anything, including yelling, wrestling on his bed while he is sleeping on it, attacks by pirates and possibly the appocolypse. Stass will not sing Mary Poppins songs no matter how many roofies you give her. Pleading the fif' is not an acceptable means of defense. Gsrrr set a new record for passing out early, totally shattering the previous record of 7:30 pm, held by Phatman with a new mark of around 4 PM. Apparently Bru's genitals smell like smelling salts, because as soon as people who pass out are about to get teabagged, they wake up very suddenly. Despite not waking up for anything else previous to that. (I would personally like to thank someone who I shall call ''Yoko'' for ''losing'' the room key that allowed us to try this on a member who shall remain nameless but may or may not be the record holder for passing out early) Of the 100 gallons of beer consumed over the weekend, pretty sure Mike got around 5 of them on Friday night. Arik actually grows hair when he is drunk, no idea why this happens. Levi has no soul, but he is still awesome fun and can take a snowball to the genitals and crash as a result of it with more style than anyone I have ever seen. Brody got one of the park features pregnant. There is actual video of the event. Despite being 56 years old, Mig's can still get inverted in the park and land it with some steez. Props to the guys getting nice air and throwing down for Sierra. If you hit HGH in the right spot on his stomach, he will drop any beer that is in his hands instantly. Dlaw is totally wasted after one drink. He will then impress the ladies by actually going to his room, grabbing a Rubik's cube and solving it right on the spot. Infiniti (Joel) will freak out if a girl gets near his pants. |

You can give shaka 2 nights to seal the deal and he still comes up empty. MikeM has very ambitious plans that never came to fruition. If you are a member of the Wingnutx clan there is an 85% chance you are leaving a palooza hurt. |

First season snowboarding, first palooza attended, officially hooked on the whole package & community!! Everyone was awesome, staff and experts were so friendly, loved meeting all of you!
THANKS FOR THE AMAZING WEEKEND MIKE!!! Never made it to the caves for a session with you but maybe next season!
 I now understand why everyone has a crush on MTpow, I am jumping on the ban-wagon too. . . .it's getting kinda crowded on here though!

It's more thanks to the Sierra Staff is why that was brewed.
Joness came up with a great idea for a thanks and I got my
buddy at Jackpot Brewing to crank it out. I made the labels and
put them on. Let Ben know what you thought about his beer
by sending him an email letting him know what you liked/disliked
about the beer.

I want to thank everyone for such a good time this weekend! Thanks SS and Mike and Jenn for making this palooza happen. I had a fun time meeting/riding with all of you.

I originally bought a ticket for saturday and only planned to ride that day but had such a blast riding and meeting people I decided to drive back and purchase another ticket for sunday!!
