just like last year... what are you up to?  skateboarding?  camping?  fishing?  reading?  pooping?

ill start it off with this.. just some random skating from last night.. stopped by the park after work to film with ryan but we ended up just messing around with everyone.

also have been doing a lot of walks and hiking and stuff outdoors.. some of the photos are in the photography thread.

I live in Australia so our season is just about to begin in a month. I just came back from the US too so I picked up some new gear on clearance and brought it home. We get ripped off down here. Stuff is so much cheaper in the states.

i got some vans classics that are a collab with airblaster...they're super sick they say "stay wild" on the back, "stay" on the left shoe and, sure enough, "wild" on the right.

ok ok back to the point of this thread:

I'm gonna sit around doing nothing, watching the Giants, drinking beers and trying to find a job before schools starts up in august. also on a diet, however that works in there.

I hit up snowflex at liberty yesterday.  took a little bit, but was pretty legit once you got used to the weird feel of the astroturf-like material.

Luckily the season isn't completely over for me.  In the off season my obsession switches to fly fishing.  Heading up to Mammoth to do both in 2 weeks.

Snowshoe had such a great winter this season... except while they were getting 3 feet of snow I was in tahoe with my snowboard club getting rain... then when we got back I went to snowshoe the next day, had one day of sun and then rain.  my luck sucked this season, it needs to be winter again...

Today was opening day at our local redneck racetrack. Raced my piece of sh(t S10 followed by my even shitier dodge neon. Tons of fun, but I'll have to put the plans for the summer jib park on hold while I rebuild the left front wheel assembly on the neon thanks to the N00bs

on a sunny day right now its gonna be around 60 during the day, a little warmer in the sun.  last week it was hitting 70 in the sun.  and then the other night it was about 35.. so its still pretty mild, but these are perfect temps for me.  i hate hot weather.

Went wakeboarding Friday and Saturday on Standley Lake..  Today we took the boat out to Horsetooth but the water was too cold for me to get in.  Joel rode today though.

I just got a big bottle of tequila and some margarita mix.
Got some cigars, and some patio chairs.

My summer plans are pretty well laid out at this point. Big smile
I'm here for the gangbang....

Currently I have most of my snowboarding gear packed away.

Now im currently working on getting my S2000 back up and running for track season while working on my daily driver.

There are some trips in the works in July for going to Chile and boarding, but I think ill give it a rest until October or November.  Every season needs its purpose.

My second child is due in a few weeks, so he'll consume most of my off-season. Any free time will good to surf fishing and day hikes.
When in doubt eat trout.

the last two days.

last night, went out near one of our favorite coves, had a fire, the girls jumped a cliff, and we did some rafting.  chased a couple sea lions for a while, and then they started following us.. 10 feet behind the raft, swimming at our pace, heads above water the whole time.  i dont think ive been that close before.. it was pretty cool.  theyre a lot bigger than it would seem..

the spot from the raft

nearly everyone

jump

hurrying to get out of the freezing ocean

logan fishing

from the raft

end of the night

and today, a short walk/hike in the afternoon and then sunset out the road.

messing around downtown before the trail... tourist season started a little over a week ago when the first ships came in.  normally these streets would be nearly empty.

looking back on the start of perseverance trail, one of the trails that came from the mining roads in the early 1900s.

friends heading up

stopped at a spot for a drink...

heading down

heading out the road near where i just moved from.

my friend jessica

alex

alex again, exploring

Saturday was 65 degrees and I went wakeboarding for the first time this season.  The water was around 68 and I had no wetsuit.  I can't wait for warmer weather.
