People to ride with in NC

Superorb, we will be staying this Saturday night up there

SH, I'll be there this weekend... I have a wedding that I may or may not attend Saturday, so I'm 50/50 there, but Sunday is a definite.  I'll be wearing the same jacket that's in the pic I posted earlier in the thread, riding a K2 Jibpan most likely and probably Oakley Crowbars with blue iridium lenses.  Say hello if you think you see me... I usually ride the high quad.

Oh, and feel free to teach me how to do what your doing in that pic

Yea, Ive got most of it down but this will be the first year for park features...... I hope to learn boxes and rails.

Beech was blowing when we got snow wednesday.  They are rarely not blowing at this time in the season. 

wasn't a fan a sugar mtn, that lift ride to the top was friggin cold.

I think if you go with someone experienced, it forces you to push yourself to the same level. It worked with me.

We should be up at Beech by noon tomorrow. Cant wait, MOVESMUSIC give us a shout if your there.....There will be 6 of us riding together

i live in NC but i usually go to snowshoe, wv and winterplace, wv

SH: Try Whiskey Militia...I just bought a pair of Dragon Rogue's on there for $35...which are normally around 125. They usually sell Phenoms from Smith, A Frames and other great goggles that are a year or older. It just sucks waiting on them to pop up...

You could also try Oakley Vault....they have some Crowbars from last year on there right now (Rootbeer color & matte black) for 45, and they generally sell for 135.

Saw some pictures of the women in the run....so glad I missed it. They were awful looking but the NERPS must have been fun...

Strick-9.........Up and back in the same day is a little much for me. I tend to be a little sore by the end of the day

SH, I can do overniters as well...this year has been so nice I just wanna spend mmore time on the slopes....and you know living in the lowcountry means there just aren't many of us that board.

I'll be 30 this year, I'm in terrible shape compared to when I was 20. Hopefully toe turns will come back to me when we go on the 22nd.

Superorb..... We will be getting to Beech around 2pm on the 4th of Feb. We have 10 people in our group and I was wondering if you would be interested in going in with us on a group rate for tickets? I think we would need a total of 15 people. Just a thought, it saves each person like 20 bucks i think. Let me know and we can get something figured out.

Strick-9.... You are right about that, not too many boarders around these parts. I do play golf every now and then, if you can call it playing....... mostly hunting for the ball.

Anyone use that GOPRO HD Camera? I might get one, but I want to make sure I get the right one and the right mounting hardware.

Beech was totally clear on Tuesday, the road was just wet in spots. No ice, snow, etc.
