From Australia and I'm currently considering spending about 6-8 weeks in either UT/CO during Jan-Feb. Not looking for work or anything, just being a ski bum for a while. Wondering if anyone has any recommendations or experiences doing a similar thing (or working a season) in the same area.
Currently leaning towards staying in Frisco (or maybe one of the resort towns?) so I have a bit of variety and can make use of the Epic Pass. I'm not really familiar with any other multi-mountain passes so am unsure if a similar thing is available for UT for resorts out of SLC. Wondering if anyone has any recommendations or past experience in these areas doing a long term stay (working or just based out of there). Any input/thoughts/experiences would be killer, thanks.

As far as Colorado goes, your best bet financially would definitely be summit county/Frisco area. The Colorado and epic passes are the best deals out there. And if you know your going to be riding almost every day i would go ahead and buy one know ahead of time when its still cheap.

That seems like the go atm, haven't been able to dig up much else with regards to good deals in either UT or even out in CA around Tahoe and the like. Do you know what Frisco is like? Night-life and off snow stuff etc. Or should we look at staying at a resort like Breck. We're in our mid 20s.
