In light of the recent profile upgrade and the demand for more options in the resorts section including a Mid-West Region we will be taking suggestions to update our outdated list.

Please post the resorts you'd like to see listed that are not currently available. Also if anyone knows of a good resource for an all inclusive list of resorts feel free to post it. I'm sure there is one if I were to google it but it's time to head out shortly and I like to see what you guys will do for me, it makes me feel powerful and important.

Paoli Peaks in Indiana, please! Also, Perfect North Slopes in Indiana because I know there were a couple of people that requested it in the other thread. I ride there as well, but not as often as I ride Paoli.

For Region, please add one for Asia. I know there aren't that many of us but it'll still be appreciated!Smile

And if you're really bored, u can even add some japanese locations
http://www.snowjapan.com/e/resorts/index.html
has the main ones

Resort list for japan might be asking a bit much. Just having the main locations would be wicked...hakuba, niseko, yea...

John john has got it covered. There are some smaller mt. in Minnesota. But if you got up north a bit, Canada is just right there. There's the Blue Mountain and various others.

Mt Beauty isn't a resort, and Dinner Plain only has a little beginner slope - so neither of these should be included.

In New Zealand, Queenstown is not a resort, so it should be deleted. Coronet Peak and the Remarkables are essentially Queenstown resorts, while Cardrona and Treble Cone are Wanaka resorts.

Ohau should be added to New Zealand, as well as "Canterbury Club Fields" as a group of fields.

Well first a Pennsylvania region to start. New Jersey and North Carolina but no PA? as far as

For PA: Blue Mountain, Big Boulder, Jack Frost, Bear Creek, Camelback, Roundtop, Seven Springs, Elk, Shawnee, Sno, Hidden Valley

that should cover the state or atleast the ones worth mentioning and then some

Here's a helpful link for spots in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Is there a dedicated page on the site that has listings for what ski areas are in certain states/countries? I found the region tab but it just looks like a bunch of random threads. Thanks

I definitely thing that NO RESORT still banning snowboarders should be included in the lists here. I realise there are skiers who post here too - but as far as I'm concerned, any resort practising bigoted discrimination in this day and age should be boycotted. They may say they ban snowboardING, but the truth is they really want to ban snowboardERS.

Ok, guys!

I've met a challenge here. I can not only find a resort where I usually ride. There is no country i live in in the list.

PLEASE!!! Add UKRAINE with it's resorts. I have already proved with some of my posts that there are places to ride here)

Ukraine is in the eastern Europe. Mountains - Karpathians.
Resorts: Bukovel, Drahobrat, Pylypet's-Podobovets', Slavske, Plai, Vodyaniki, and etc.

Please add at least some of them
Push hard and you'll reach the top

For Canada BC you could add Sun Peaks And Silverstar. They are 2 great resorts especially Sun Peaks one of my favourites.

Snowshoe and Seven Springs.  I would also suggest Mad River Mtn. in Ohio but that could be a stretch.

Adding to the PA list - Whitetail, and Liberty. Also, for Maryland - Wisp.

To the people claiming that some hills are too small: if someone's going to ride there they could still benefit from finding another "regional" rider on the forums. I don't see any benefit in omitting any "resorts."

(do these populate the same lists as the "Meet up and Ride" section?) My bad, the "Meet up and Ride" lets you type in anything you want.

I'd like to be able to pick Stevens Pass along with Schweitzer, because I spend a decent amount of time in Seattle. Maybe a toggle for "add a mountain" after your home mountain for "alternate locations"?
When I do good I am never remembered. When I do bad I am never forgotten.

Mid-West:

Sundown Mountain - Dubuque, Ia
Chestnut Mountain - Galena, Il
Devil's Head Resort, Merrimac, Wi
Granite Peaks - Wausau, Wi

There are more around, smaller... but these are the larger ones that I've been to.

Midwest > Michigan > Mt. Brighton, Alpine Valley, Mt. Holly.

I realize they're literally garbage dumps, but they're what I get to ride most often. (Hooray for 2 for Tuesday!)
