Who's ready for some football 2010/2011

I think this season is going to be interesting since the bottom tier teams got some new decent players. I want to see if the Washington Redskins will be a new team since they got a great coach and quarterback. What yall think?

I'm REALLY excited to see how they'll be this season. I was a sad Raider the past couple of seasons because of JaFatass Russell.

Should be interesting to see how my Steelers will fair without Rapelisberger for the first couple of games...overall i think they will be fine and will be back to playoffs this year, however i dont know how far they can make a run in the playoffs

As for the skins, they "actually" look like they are getting their stuff together to be competitive again in the NFC east however i dont see the Giants doing much...im with lightning80 on that...i see the cowboys finally kicking into gear and having a really good year

An actual Ram fan...looking forward to see how Sam Bradford pans out...wouldn't be surprised if he goes down with a shoulder injury...yikes.  He has no one to throw to and we shall see if the line shall keep him upright.  I have a feeling he is going to become a pro at handing the ball off this year.

They WILL be better. They reallllly beefed up their defense (especially against the running game) and now have a REAL quarterback. I can't wait for the Silver and Black to start smacking people around again.

I can't wait any longer, summer is so boring. At least there's the world cup going on. Hopefully this year there will be two undefeated teams in the Iron Bowl. It would be Awesome to see Auburn play Bama for the SEC West title. I pray that Auburn can get back on top in the state. War Damn Eagle!

dude... i read your thread title i thought your were talking about the world cup... and thinking you were about a week too late...
then i realized you were talking about north american football...

guess i've been watching way too much world cup this last little while..

i'm glad so many 49ers and raiders games are blacked out, otherwise, they'll show those games in the sacramento area. so, i'm able to watch a lot more cowboys games!

im pretty excited to see how the jets do this year since they picked up some talented albeit troubled players... Coach of the year goes to rex ryan if he can get those bigtime ego's to gel

I cant wait for the season I am always on NFL.com or Espn to see what going on.  The Skins are going to be much improved this year and the division will be tough.  Cowboys will get to playoffs and choke and not be able to play in their own stadium for title....  Bring on the pig skin Collage and NFL....  HTTR.....

Niners are play off bound this season. I dont even care if its a wild card game.

They've definitely got a chance. There are a lot of teams that wouldn't surprise me to make the playoffs. Kansas City and Detroit though are probably in for another long season.

Yeah, I think the Cowboys are gonna take the East. In that division, they're the best on paper and they've been playing together for a while.

getting really into the World Cup and watching U.S. Open golf and then even some tennis made me think of one thing . . . WHEN IS FOOTBALL GOING TO START?  Even though it is tough to be a Browns fan I can't wait

I'm a Raiders fan, but was never too impressed with Campbell when I would watch him with Washington. The way I see it, he won't lose us games (or not nearly as many as JaMarcus), so we have a legitimate shot at a +0.500 season. With any luck, SD will implode without LT, Jackson, and a hurt Gates.. and the division will be at least a competition.

Campbell didnt fit the system in Washington. He's waaaaaaaay better than JaMarcus and a better fit in Oakland. Might even give the Niners a run for thier money this year (doubt it). We play them in the pre season and reg season.

Im hoping for a 7+ win season for KState this year. But I gotta hope we get a QB who can throw, other wise Daniel  Thomas is going to have a hard time.

HAHA!!! Jamarcus Russell got arrested for "sippin on some sizzuuuuurp." Actually it it was possesion of codeine which is an ingredient used to make the drink. That stuff was about 10 years ago.
