I'm ready. Hopefully the Vikings don't choke again this year but I'm not going to get my hopes up.

it's going to be a battle between cowboys and indians in the nfc east, and we know who wins at the end...eagles and giants are going to be "also ran"..haha |

i practically have a team in the skins, especially if they pick up westbrook, and i was an old donkey's fan, so shannhan was always one of the best in my book. Eagles first, anyone in the nfc east, except the 'boys, second...

Yeah, this football season looks to be good. I am usually strictly a college football fan, because I like to see teams improve and get better throughout the year.
NFL has some teams that are new playing together with new coaches and some revenge is needed from last year. Looking forward to it. |

I'm waitin for Terrell Owens to be picked up. I wish the bengals would take him, paired up with ocho..that would be fun to watch. They would joke around so much. |

Since Clevland is crying over LBJ leaving town, I think the Browns tank this season and go for another #1 overall draft pick. The Rams and Bills are pretty bad too.

Has Purdue even had a good team since Drew Brees left? But yeah, I'm ready for some college football too.

I think this goes without saying but this is the year of Da Bears!
Also can we please stop calling the Cowboys America's team. It seems like everywhere I go in America everyone hates the Cowboys. |

Hopefully the Bolts can get VJ and McNeil under contract next season. All the uncertainty with the CBA is screwing up their super bowl chances.

Heard Michael Vick's name in the news again. This guy just cant stay out of trouble. He should just sip on some sizzurp with Jamarcus Russell and play Madden all day.

Man.. I'm so ready for the season to start, or at least some training camp news (as a Raiders fan, this offseason seems as important as its ever been in a while). I go on NFL.com at least once a day, just to realize nothing is really going on except some holdouts and "Favre Watch". Get a new CBA done already.. if I have to wait an entire year for football after this year, what am I supposed to do, follow baseball?!?

As a lions fan it is hard to get excited about football, but I see them getting up to 5 wins maybe 6 if they get lucky. They got some solid young talent, but if they don't start winning everyone is going to leave.

I think jets is the more likely to win the super bowl, look at mark sanchez, ladanian tomlinson, santonio holmes, and on defense cromartie, and reevis. that's beast!!

Jets look good on paper and did better than I expected last year. LT is old for a RB and his numbers declined in SD. He's a good #2 RB tho. Id be more concerned about Shonn Greene.

i think the cowboys are the hardest to beat..tony romo, marion barber, felix joines, tashard choice, miles austin, dez bryant, roy williams, jason witten, lenard davis, andrew gurode on offense..unfortunately, some will have to come off the bench...defense has demarcus ware, bradie james, keith brooking..the 2ndary is more suspect..if they score enough on offense, it won't matter. |

worse than the cowboys are cowboys fans, for the most part. youre average cowboys fan cant name 5 players on the team or all the teams in their division...but wont hesitate to tell you that your team sucks and the cowboys will always be there best team evar |

I'm an Eagles fan, but I wanna see McNabb do good. I wasn't really happy that they didn't get McNabb back this year, but I think most Philly fans wanted him out.

I guess Brett Favre is playing this upcoming season. Wonder if he's gonna hold a LeBron James type press conference like he did last year.

I think Favre should do a two hour special in 3D to announce if he's going to play this year. Who knows maybe he'll go play point guard for the heat.

I've been a Raider fan my entire life.. but an active 49ers hater for the past 3 years. But as much as I would love to see A. Smith struggle again, what I saw from him last year makes me think Mike Nolan completely botched Smith's shoulder treatment and made him seem worse than he is. However, if he still leads his team to second place finish in the division (or maybe third.. Seahawks, anyone?) and a mediocre 8-8, he might as well just be released and let the Carr era begin..hehe

Cowboys should be the favorite cuz Miles Austin is with Kim Kardashian now. Reggie Bush went out with her and won a ring. Lamar Odom married Khloe Kardashian and won a ring. I see a pattern...

Just watch, A. Smith will finally look like the #1 draft pick that he was.
The Niners will be legit this year.

Solocreep, that's a very good observation! anything Kim touches, inherits a ring...but let's be honest, i'm pretty sure there are TONS of atheletes who explored her, but end up not getting a championship

Honestly, he is not that bad at all.
There were a ton of factors that played into him not living up to that potential.
I personally liked Aaron Rodgers and hoped the Niners would have drafted him, but to be honest, I really don't know how well he would've fared in the system either. I mean it's easy to look at him now and say things, but I'm really not sure if he would've turned out half that good if he had been on the Niners instead of GB.
Regardless, atleast Smith isn't anywhere near JaFatAss Russell's caliber.

Exactly, plus he still has Davis as his TE along with the rest of the receiving corps, who although aren't stellar, can get the job done as 2nd and 3rd receivers.
Now that we drafted those two big ass OL, Smith will actually have some time to throw the ball.
Add to the fact that our defense is legit as shtook and the Niners are definitely a threat this year.
