Haha eh it's finally summer in Vancouver... it's kind of nice. We've had shitty weather for the longest time so it's nice to get some sun.

I've been pretty damn hot for the short amounts of time that I spend out doors between leaving my air conditioned house and to my air conditioned car. Then from my air conditioned car to my air conditioned office. Yea, I guess it's hot.

It's 100 here today. Lord please help us! Summertime in the South is like none other. The heat is bad but the humidity takes it to a whole new level. You get drenched with sweat by doing strenuous activities like breathing or sitting really still. Thank jeebus for central A/C. Bring on the Fall!

Of all the years of summer that i have experienced it has never been so hot.
Just cruisin with widows down(no ac) it is not that fun. It never used to be like this. It's been getting better though we had some rain so that cooled it down a bit. |

I'm right near DC in MD, and its been in upper 90s and low 100s the last few weeks, minus a few days here and there. Set the damn high temperature record on a bunch of the days. I really want winter to come.

yesterday was the hottest day we've had in a while. probably 65 and sunny, maybe almost 70. for the few weeks before that it had been averaging about 50 during the day, and rainy or cloudy. but back toward spring we were hitting the mid 80s a bunch.
i would never live anywhere that it got over 90 regularly. 80 is too hot for me, 70 is borderline.. i prefer 60 or below..... but really i would like it to be 30 or below all the time.

High of 98 today here in Portland, OR. PNW weather is so spastic; just two days ago I was piling on the blankets to keep warm at night, and yesterday I was putting in my air conditioner. There was no intermediate step between 'jacket weather' and 'shorts weather'.

depends where you live and what you do just like anywhere, in reality. there are people here who are pale like me, but there are plenty that are lobster red because of what they do. but for this post, we'll just say we are the same.

It's not so bad at work, but when I get home it suucks! The sun bakes the bedroom wall in the evenings and my bedroom stays hot through the night. I hate waking up to a damp/sticky neck. So uncomfortable!

I would take 100 degree socal weather over 100 degree upstate NY weather. Humidity sucks, I freaking hate it!
Standing in the shade does nothing to cool me down. And I bicycled to work and back today...that was miserable, but not as bad as Tuesday. |

I didn't work outside this week except for today. I missed most of the heat from the earlier part of the week, but still got nailed with the humidity. It was a good beach week though.

today is a bit hotter. around 75 now but it was over 80 earlier. thats about as hot as juneau summers get.. and while its definitely a wet climate, the humidity is never bad in general.
and inside my house its nice and cool cause i never put the heat above 60. its usually at 55.. and for a while, we just had it off.

It's gotten a bit better today here, but the past couple of days were brutally hot and very humid. It's fine at work, but when I get home, I just do nothing and sweat while the pets all lie around and do nothing as well. Pretty icky....
