Just curious, how much would you sell those for? Together and individually if you would. You can PM me your price if you don't want to just post it.

And would be down to trade any of these gold Force SL parts. Everything is M/L and I really want some red blue yellow or white force straps

I'm in serious search mode for some blue Force parts.  What size will you be getting?  I'd need parts from L/XL.

Also, are those Milan straps on your Forces?  Would be right up the same alley as those hooker boots came from.  LOL  Can tell cuz of the big chrome Union logo, as well as that stray black highback in one of the pics.  We got those binders for my woman last season.  Good stuff.  Now my woman's have some limited (aka extinct) ptery highbacks, woot woot!

My current wanted/needed list of parts (L/XL):

Solid orange toe straps - probably from Contacts

Blue Force "trim" pieces, the little ones that attach on the sides of the baseplates.

Have any of you guys tried using Burton cap straps with Union forces? I heard it's a pretty awesome combo.

Found some random Union stuff on ebay that may be worth a look-see if someone is interested in making some Franks.  One is an already mixed set of Forces, the other is a pair of white/black ankle straps.

DVDGNU - Throw up some pics of what you've got to work with and I can give you my personal views I guess.  Gotta find a balance between looks and performance, depending on what you value more.  I'd say for the most part mixing bindings is a cosmetic change, but when you've got Unions with different highbacks and baseplates, then start mixing them together, you can come up with a "fine-tuned" binder for your specific taste.  Plus, you might end up with a sweet looking color combo as well.

The only way I'd buy them is if they were retardedly cheap.  The last thing I need right now is another set of bindings around here.  I've 3 boards and at least 5 complete sets of bindings, plus some random parts leftover from mixing them together.

Edit - Correction, pretty sure I have 6.  Wowzers... Confused

One would think that, wouldn't ya.  Got a couple I'll never sell, tho.

Not selling
-Team Data/Inverter Franks
-Force MC Franks
-OG White Forces

To be mixed
-Super Pros
-Green Forces

Can/will sell
-Green/Black Contacts

I'll try to make a run down of parts I have available.  I know of some Team Data baseplates right now.  They're mostly black with white Union logos.

Check the very first page of this thread.  That's basically what I've got/done so far.  I'm not sure if I've got pics of the Green/Black Contacts on this thread yet or not.

Don't have any pics of the Purple/Green combo due to the fact that I haven't started yet, and I'm in need of a few more parts.

MH8701. That is sick. Hate the union toe straps and love rides. Did not realize they would fit. May not have sold my forces if I would have slapped my ride straps on there.

Dude.  If you buy new Forces, and they happen to be blue, I'd be interesting in working out a deal.  Possibly some pieces from something I have to make up for your missing blue ones, and then result in a "discount" on the Contacts?  We'll see.  I really want some blue parts, and the Contacts aren't doing me any good here.

Love that Ride toe strap. Did you have to do any real modification to make it work?

If it's super easy, I may do something similar.

I can't tell from experience since I don't own them personally, but just looking at them tells me they are.  Have the same three holes for the highback rotation, and the straps mount the same as everything else.  Can't imagine they'd make a whole new design for one new binder.  Pretty sweet, tho.   Those highbacks are so rad.

Its as simple as removing the old strap and adding the new one, they are very compatible.  (use every thing union (ratchet, ladder, screws etc.) except the strap itself)

The screw that mounts the board to the binding is stripped?  Is the head stripped out, meaning the screwdriver won't turn it, or is the screw actually spinning inside the hole?  The first option would be much less worse than the latter.

To get a stripped-head screw out, there's really only two options (imo):

1.  Get a bigger screwdriver, like a #3 phillips.  Sometimes it's just a matter of making a much better connection between the two.

or

2.  Get something called an "easy-out" (most common it seems) or a screw extractor (see pic below).  It looks like a drill bit but the threads are backwards.  You drill a small hole (with a regular drill bit) into the screw itself, then tap this thing into said hole.  The top has a square head that you use to turn the easy-out.  The threads are backwards to bite into the material of the screw and hopefully back it out of the hole, if it's not too stuck.  It's a fairly simple task on the surface, but it can quickly go south if you don't get a good enough bite initially.  You can keep drilling the hole bigger and retrying but you'll eventually run out of screw.  If they'll do it for you at ACE, I'd take 'em up on it.

Oh, I know what it is.  Hence me asking how much.  Seen a few of 'em out on the hill in my days of riding.  Would make very sweet wall art indeed.  I'm still on the hunt for a K2 Quaw Quaw.

If you are going to try Burton cap straps on your Union L/XL bindings, I'd recommend sizing down.  I tried the Large burton cap straps on my Contacts and they were way too big.  Medium Burton straps fit perfect.

I'd try using a couple used condoms as toe straps before putting Burton parts on my Unions.  Just sayin'. Wink

Thanks KL, yeah it's the screw head that is stripped, tried basically every screwdriver bit I own, which is a lot, tried the rubber band trick, didn't work, I don't own any power drills, so drilling a hole will be difficult, going to bring my board on down to ACE on Wed. prob and see if they can help me out.

MH8701 - How much for the board in the background? Big smile

Hey. its my wallart. Brand new Shapeshifter double swallowtail!

Oh, I know what it is.  Hence me asking how much.  Seen a few of 'em out on the hill in my days of riding.  Would make very sweet wall art indeed.  I'm still on the hunt for a K2 Quaw Quaw.

Im just gonna throw this out there. Was gonna grab it myself but it would just be greedy to have 2

If it is just one screw that you can't get out all you need to do is slightly lift up on the heel cup to put a little pressure on the screw and rotate your entire binding. The pressure of the mounting disk lifting up on the screw should be enough to turn the screw when rotating your binding. I've done this many of times.
I'm just here to look cool...

Went to ACE today, and one of the employees had bought the last item that I needed to get out the screw so he said he's bring it in tomorrow and do it for me. Awesome customer service.

However, I come home to an awesome suggestion from Scorer, worked like a charm, and now my bindings are all ready for some frankenbinder action! Woohoo, thanks KrazyLegs and Scorer for all your help.

Such a simple solution, feel like a retard not thinking of it....considering I'm a construction management major.....ah well, problem solved, and now I have more knowledge, win win.

Figured I'd post this up here...

Complete pair of '10 Green L/XL forces, and a full set of black Contact ratchets.
Open to trading some parts if anyone's interested.
