@shining diamond

I would say the exact same thing. Boarding up at Mont Tremblant without a helmet was a bad idea. Picked one up as soon as I got stateside.

I broke my hip but that was from a motorcycle accident. Some jackass driver decided to make a left turn in front of me. I fly about 50ft from my bike and was in pain. My hip had a very bad burning sensation and I knew I couldn't move. Worst week of my life being in the ICU.

broke my arm in two spots. came in full speed onto a larger jump than expected, and was trying to land switch and i had way too much speed that i needed so i tried to add another 360 degrees to the 540 that i had already done, and i landed straight onto my arm.

the crazy thing is that the same day, i guy i think died, or at least broke his neck on that same jump. the same day as when i broke my arm!

Fell down going fast and dislocated my elbow. Had to have two doctors pull my arm from opposite ends to pop the bone back in place. Worst pain I've ever experienced.

Not a really bad injury but the situation sucks. Just as we started getting snow out here on the east coast and the day after I booked tickets to go to CO, I broke my big toe playing indoor soccer.

I was going down a slope with some rc36 lens and it was kinda dark. I didn't really have any depth perception so I accidently went on the moguls. Went in face first and smashed my goggles. I got a concussion and had some temporary memory loss. It was a lot of fun walking around the resort recollecting my memory :)

well i've been pretty lucky in the injury department so far, and havn't had anything too major*knock on wood* other than a shoulder injury and more ankle injuries than i can count.

But I'm always nervous about getting seriously injured especially when I have a snowboard trip planned for feb. I would cry if I were ever hurt for that!!! Althought an injury can happen at any time, i definitely don't try to do anything too crazy or anything above and beyond my comfort zone.

I carved on ice one time, and while going backwards (facing up the mountain, back going forward) my back edge caught and i flipped and hit the back of my head on ice. i woke up to my friend laughing his butt off and i had no clue what was happening...i crawled to the edge till i woke up fully and then i finished the slope and kept riding. i prob shoulda seen a doctor or told someone but whatever, i'v had a concussion before and i dont wanta go thru that again

Just broke the main bone in my arm (the radius) in half and fractured the smaller bone (the ulnar)in two spots. This was my left arm, inches above the wrist and might be in a cast till February, then physical therapy! Did it just trying to hit a "rainbow box" straight. Got turned toward my frontside coming down the backside, flew off and landed on top of my arm, snapping it upwards. Had to have it reset. My bro got it on film though. Still working on getting it on my profile. Board wisely, y'all.

Well its not as bad as some of your guys injuries. But I hit a rail with too much speed, lost control at the end and went knee first onto the edge of the rail, felt like I got stabbed in the leg. I crawled to the side because it was too painful to walk and noticed my pants were ripped. I pulled them up and noticed a cut about 2 inches long and what looked like fat from my shin hanging out and could see some of the bone. I had a first aid kit in the car and my girlfriend went and grabbed the wrap and I wrapped up my leg and called it a day. Took a while to recover

Pretty old revive there vin.cent. LOL

Guess I'll add....
My worst was either the time I broke my T-10 vertebrae, or the time I broke my left arm (broke my radius in two places, and the Ulna in one spot) Didn't poke out of the skin or anything, but the radius bulged up the skin a good amount..Both times I had to drive myself home an hour from the slopes.

i guess i'll add... mine wasn't too bad.

i was in the park in Red River, NM, going down a big box (as a novice in ~ 2006). I was about to pop off the end but when I pressed to jump, my board slid out from under me on one side of the box, and my face hit the snow on the other side. I busted my shin pretty bad just above my boot, and my mouth was all bloody. A few cuts on my face from my goggles, and a badly sprained wrist.

This was day 2, and I boarded the next 3 days.

My worst injury was when I was sat off to the side of a run at Monte St.Anne and had my back to oncoming riders. It was a foggy day and one rider couldn't stop and slammed his board into my back. Luckily, it was just the flat part of the board but still did significant damage. My back hasn't been the same. After that day, I started wearing a spine guard and facing uphill when i stopped.
