Largest Burton Vapor ever made!!!

This super sized set up was floating around the office the other day (en route to it’s really big owner), and it was so amazing that we had to take some pictures. The boots are size 22, the bindings were specially modified Freestyle’s (to put things in perspective, the toe strap is a L ankle strap…), and the board is the biggest Vapor ever made. In the pictures up above, those are size 9 feet standing on it with a fair bit of clearance on either side of the board, and in the base photo you can see that it needed more than one base sheet to cover the base. The mold we used to make this board was from a board that we made for basketball legend David Robinson, who is 7′ 1″. Shoot, that’s a big board! "

hm.. that looks more like a big ass custom with a vapor base print. Maybe its just me, but the nose and tail don't resemble the vapors shape at all.

Maybe it is Shaqs board and he ordered it for that horrible Shaq Versus ... show.  It amazes me what shows get greelit sometimes.

i saw a charles barkley shoe at a store one time, it was a 23, it was ridiculous how huge it was. at least twice as long as my size 9's. to think how wide a board would have to be to fit that shoe...

it's like a size of a kayak!! holy gee sauce cries! you know in some countries, this board is about the size of their house!

why custom order, couldn't the person just get a skunk ape^^^^^^heir to the doughboy and my grocer.

If it is Shaq, I thought it would have a better top sheet with a Superman logo.

Even though the Doughboys, Grocers and Skunk Apes are long, they wouldn't be nearly wide enough for that size 22 boot.  They're relatively narrow, even though they're long.  And, that board doesn't look like it was built to be long, as much as it was to be wide to accommodate the ridiculously large foot.  They have it next to a Sherlock, which only comes in a 163 as the longest version, and that Vapor isn't all that much longer than it.

skunk ape is pretty wide...maybe not wide enough, but it's up in the 260+ range.

So for who's the big owner for it ?
