I have a feeling, it's gonna be a looooong season for Cal if Riley is their starting QB.
is it just me? or is common sense not that common.

Glad pitt lost last night, I thought they were overrated anyways.

UConn will win the Big East this year for sure.

I know man, my uncle is US head coach so I have to root for them.  They are a 31.5 point underdog, not good.

USC's offense looked pretty good last night...Tailback U has picked up where it left off.

But man their defensive secondary is garbage.Ouch

They said it was a dirty, forearm clothesline...the UH qb is so short, what was the USC defender supposed to do, crouch before lighting him up?

^^^  Yeah that forearm shivver was pretty brutal, I wouldn't want to run into that.  Any big ten fans?  I'm heading back to C-bus to watch the Buckeyes kick Miami's ass next weekend (hope it turns out better than my trip back to watch the USC game last year  . . . .)

Seeing how they played most of last season w/o Bradford, I think they'll be doing fine w/ Jones.  He's got a season under his belt now.  The question is how is Texas' new quarterback.  He was pretty shaky early on in the championship game, but settled down later.  Should be a good season in the Big12.

We fly in Friday, and will probably head to a friend's tailgate Saturday a.m. as early as possible -- but I'm counting on local friends mainly.  Also have to hit the Vet school tailgate to get my wife's alumni tickets, so will swill some beers there too.  Getting
nervous about this game already . . . .

Thats awesome your wife got the Miami game as her alumni tickets.  I usually don't get that lucky.  My alumni tickets are usually the games like Kent State and Toledo.

True, but Gilbert is starting now. All the responsibility for the entire season. I really hope the running game gets going. Newton is pretty quick on his feet if he gets any room.

Alright it is Rich Rod's last chance here at Michigan, he needs to get seven wins and today is a big one as UCONN is underrated.

UConn will get the upset on the road.  Even if they are only minor underdogs.

Well UConn blew it.  Too many dropped passes and the fumble near the goal line was too much to overcome.  Michigan Played very well but it was still a winnable game for Connecticut.

Man I love college football season! Sooners scraped by... plenty of things to work on defensively!

TCU's uniforms were pretty cool looking. tcu uni's.jpg

I don't know about anyone else but I think it's the begining of the end for Les Miles at LSU. LSUI got gift wrapped a win playing North Carolina's second string defense and almost blew it. When SEC play starts and the losses pile up the faithful in Baton Rouge are going to lose it. Oh on a side note South Carolina looked pretty good on Thursday night. Marcus Lattimore looked like a stud. I'm not ready to crown them National Champs but they look greatly improved from last year and they were playing Southern Miss. Man it's great to have football back on. Also went to Auburn for the game Saturday. Auburn's offense looked solid. Michael Dyer looks to be the real deal and Cameron Newton impressed. The down is the defense looked blah(played alot of base defense). They did play alot of freshmen. The d-line play and tackling have improved from last year. The first test for Auburn will be on Thursday when they travel to Starkville to play Miss St.

Cal layed the smackdown on UC Davis but i'm still worried about real competition. Gotta keep tabs on the freshman Keenan Allen.
