^yeah, that was a big shocker! Might hurt boise state's championship dreams there.  Sooners are holding up well against FSU.  Hopefully, we can continue to move the ball the rest of the game.

I wish I could revel in Cal beating the snot out of CU, but Colorado is REALLY BAD.  Cal played ok but CU repeatedly shot itself in the foot with mental errors, penalties, and general bad play.  Dan Hawkins is so fired.

Ha true that.  The best possible outcome we had before this game was orange bowl, and now its still orange bowl.  I'd have been more pissed if we beat boise and then lost to jmu.

Well, I wanted CSU to beat the Buffaloes last week.  At least Cal is kicking the crap out of them.  The state of colorado football teams sucks right now

Oregon is looking really good. They didnt even really get started until the 2nd half.  I don't see anyone in the pac10 beating them.

I'm going to have to go back and look at the game feed.  The LaMichael James' 72-yard run was kind of a disaster (don't get me wrong, great individual effort on his part but the Vols defense was playing very undisciplined both before and after he should have been stuffed for a loss) and the pick-6 was basically a gimme.  I have a feeling the Oregon offense isn't quite as scary as that score would indicate... at least not until Darron Thomas gets more game-time experience (figures Cal gets them towards the tail end of the season).

That defense is very good though, pitching a shut out in the 2nd half.  They've definitely established themselves as the team to beat this year in the conference, even without Masoli.  Cal fans know all about how hard it is to play at Neyland in front of that crowd.

I dint get to watch the game but Cal can put up some points, but I know Oregon is still the class of the Pac 10. They're scoring machines.

Yeah once again its going to come back to the play of Riley Confused. Started following/rooting for Cal when my sister went there during Rodgers' first year.  Seems like they continually get good players at each position every year except in the one position that matters the most, quarterback Dead

I thought it would be a toss up between Oregon and Stanford this year for the Pac10, but Stanford struggled way more than they should've against a horrible UCLA team.  We'll see how they are once they play a better team.

Don't be fooled by the scoreboard in the CU game.  Cal's offense is not that good.  Colorado's offense is just that bad (see: 14 defensive points, 17 off turnovers including 10 in Colorado territory).  Cal is more talented than Colorado, but we shouldn't have beaten them by more than two touchdowns.

If our o-line gets going, we could have a great season.  Skill player-wise I think we match up with Oregon pretty well, but their o-line is a strength whereas ours has looked subpar.  However, our best o-line has been hurt and he's only now working himself back into the rotation.  Maybe it's just coincidence, but when he played last year we went 7-1 and when he didn't we went 1-4.

How sad is it when you can legitimately argue that a team struggled while pitching a 35-0 shutout against a Big Six team?  UCLA is SO bad.  I thought they would be mediocre at best but that's just embarrassing.

It wasn't just 35-0 either it was a 35-0 crap kicking.  Every position (except maybe Punter) Stanford was better by far.

The sad part is from what I hear Stanfurd's offense played pretty meh.  That's just how bad UCLA is.

And to be fair, UCLA's kicker is really good.  Might get drafted good.  Doesn't sound like he had much to do on Saturday, though.

The punter got to punt 4 times, good day for him.  But 4 turnovers and 2 turnovers on Downs will kill you every-time.

The Buckeyes handled the Canes pretty easy.  They looked good accept for special teams, which is usually their strong point.

Worthwhile trip back to Columbus this weekend bishes!!!  If not for special teams breakdowns Buckeyes would have won that game by 30.  Also, I haven't been to a tailgate like that for a number of years, would have definitely felt better Sunday if I wasn't drinking Molson XXX . . . .

The one thing I took away from the ass kicking Oregon gave Tennessee is the Tennessee players played hard the whole game.  They were outmatched but they fought hard and that is all you can ask of a young team and a first year coach.  It made me feel good about the future of the program.

I think we looked good, but I think the game really showed that FSU still has a ways to go.  Their poor tackling lead to a significant amount of YAC & points for OU.  It'll be interesting to see how we handle Air Force next week, and how we play Cincinnati on the road.

Tennessee had Oregon's number for most of the first half.  The second have didn't go so good for Tennessee

We made appearances over by the ag building most of the morning.  Had to swing by the vet school tailgate to get our tickets and then hooked up with an off-the hook tailgate behind victory's after the game.  Epic

lol don't be silly, PSU doesn't stand a chance against a good SEC team, let alone the best one at the moment.  PSU is always overhyped because they slaughter teams like middle tennessee state while playing very few good teams.

psu didnt stand a chance against an sec team? they beat lsu last year...obviously they got bent over against alabama though....payback will come next year :)

It was so satisfying to watch Nebraska drive the ball down Washington's throat play after play and make 8-12 yards each time.

Still glad both teams are 3-0
