I guess the only thing we can hope for now is a buyout...but even then it will never be the same...

If the company has gone under, the userbase/reputation (goodwill) is probably one of the biggest assets left...

They need to act quickly though, to avoid the speculation trashing the goodwill

I don't remember, and I'm not going to go look for it. The majority of the Gravis stuff was old too, like 07-09 gear, iirc, with some 2010 stuff thrown in.

I know the Gravis rep for the area.  He said SS did a buy all on their closeout stock at the beginning of the year before anything went down and SS didn't get around to putting it on their site until much later.  He also noted that SS described some product as Spring 2010 when it was actually older.  SS still owes for the buy. 

seriously though, it will be so sad to see Sierra go away….  It's been part of my daily habit for over 2 years.

even if they do go out of business it would be cool if the forums were still here. I've learned alot here.

i think its really because we've mostly devoured and speculated on the little info we have at the moment. Im sure when something new crops up, there'll be a flurry again :)

sorry man, totally misread your post there, thought you were talking about the bankruptcy threads :) Dunno about post whores, im sure theyre still around grinding out their 3 reviews and 5 posts. Its just i havent paid the slightest attention to them (except indirectly) since this all exploded.

if stuff gets back to normal, im going on a flagging rampage :)
