Topic: Are orders still being shipped- Posted: Sep/13/2010 at 8:29pm |
|
I'm thinking about making an order from Sierra this week, but I just want to make sure people who have recently made orders are still receiving their stuff. The only reason I ask is because I want to be cautious in light of all of Sierra's legal/bankruptcy/blah blah blah issues.
Thanks in advance.

Yes from a few posts that i have seen people are ordering and getting their stuff shipped. I wouldn't worry if they don't you can just call up your credit card company. There have also been posts by staff that said they don't charge your credit card until it's shipped. If you have a debit card it will be credited back.

Yes, everything is working.
I ordered some bindings and shoes on Sept 7th and got them Sept 13th. I live in Japan btw so thats pretty fast.
Yea it seems like a court decision is coming on Sept 22nd so to be ULTRA safe, you might want to put in the order on the 20th or something. After it's been shipped, you should be safe.

This is a good question as I want to buy a snowboard soon and the imagination of Sierra going out of business is a bit worrying for me..

Not true. 2(?) weeks ago during those few days the shopping cart went down, people who ordered the day before it happened had their orders cancelled. So even if the order goes through, I wouldn't say you're safe until the order has been physically shipped.
