nice!! although it's going to be hot this weekend in SoCal..at least it's few weeks closer to winter..I'm so desperate for snow right now, I'd even 'board on a DRY ICE!! just gotta make sure i won't fall cause that would burn!!!!

Saturday: Snow showers. Some thunder is also possible. High near 43. South southwest wind between 8 and 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

Saturday Night: Snow. Low around 29. West wind between 6 and 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.

Sunday: Snow likely. Cloudy, with a high near 50. Windy, with a south southwest wind between 20 and 30 mph, with gusts as high as 44 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Sunday Night: Rain showers before midnight, then snow showers. Snow level 10500 feet lowering to 9300 feet after midnight . Low around 29. Breezy. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 6 inches possible.

Monday: Snow showers. High near 32. Breezy. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Monday Night: Snow likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 19.

So basically the minimum snow through sunday is going to be 12 inches and max could be 22 inches.
With all of this snow on the way they are still only planning to open november 20th? wow I can't wait a month

@SnowSurfr you won't regret it escpecially if it snows while your here honestly i have been to a lot of resorts and for powder snowbird is in my opinion the best. If you are looking for a good park you won't find it at snowbird

peekaboo snowbird is in Utah not colorado and no they will need like 2 or 3 more feet to open because the mountain is too steep to open without a few feet of coverage. It's supposed to open november 20th
Well just about all the weather forecasts predicted that snowbird could get up to 3 feet but instead it looks like they got about 8 inches.. 7-11 inches predicted to fall tonight.

snow totals adding up nicely. Spent part of the day up there yesterday it was good to be back on snow again. Even tho we got kicked out

^^^ i was driving through salt lake last night during that storm, at about 11:00, it was crazy, so much snow.

Originally this thread was just about snowbird gettin some early snow. Then i changed it to the snowbird thread. Now i decided to change it to the Utah resorts thread cause people have been complaining that there have been threads about a bunch of different resorts. This is probably less annoying and a lot more people will use it

/edit I was up at brighton for a couple hours yesterday. There must have been 2 1/2 feet of snow at the base. It was really fun the jump we built was massive and the brighton owner was totally chill about us being up there. He said that they are having a bunch of jibs being set up for people to hike on saturday. We asked when they will be opening and he said it's likely that Brighton will be opening earlier than predicted possibly as early as next wednesday Nov 3rd.

Right now there scheduled to open up on Nov. 12th, if we get another storm bye then I wouldnt be suprised if sooner.

We hope to get out to Snowbird this Winter; hope you guys keep getting hit with the Snow!
