Why is so easy to hate Sasha?
It's because he's engaged with Sharapova...

The lockout is looking worst, Billy Hunter, the Players Association executive is saying there probably isn't going to be a season this year.

The NBA told the Kings to stay in Sacramento for 1 more year before moving to Anaheim to wait for an arena deal. Not sure how Sacramento is going to generate enough interest to support a new arena with no basketball season... At the same time, it means my Mavs get to hold on to the title a little longer...hahaha

Vujacic isn't even the best at picking up chicks. =P I think the honor goes to Jaric who got Adrianna Lima, the VS model.

I really hope that the lockout does last into next season so Kobe and a bunch of players go overseas to play.

Why?  It's not like you'll be watching a bunch of those games.

Lima is way hotter than Sherapova. I personally think Lima is the hottest VS model, but obviously not everyone is gonna agree with me, and I don't care. Bottom line is I would take Lima over sherapova any day.

They are going no where is LBJ doesn't change his attitude. I don't know what hell happened to him, he's become a cocky bitch. You have no idea how many people hate him, he really needs to change his attitude.

what do you mean "he's become a cocky bitch"??? Since DAY 1, lebron has been the cockiest mofo.
like he really gives a shit how much people hate him, lol...

the heat made it to the finals without much of a bench and they got beat by one hell of a TEAM that had great production off the bench. so I'm thinking, they add a few more solid role players and they're good to go.

Agreed, dude got the chosen 1 tattooed on his back. The thing is, with most athletes they have been spoiled since they are young due to their talents, free education at college, probably favoritism by the teachers and etc.

Miami obviously got talent to win it all, but yes they need better role players but there probably wont be a season this year so doesn't matter.

He put the target on his back with the decision and the preseason celebration.   You do that, you need to handle the criticism.

All players are cocky...they wouldn't be where they were without some arrogance. But yeah, Lebron does it in a way that irritates NBA fans.

There's a difference between cocky and confident. All great players are supremely confident, but when you're the "chosen one" since being a junior in HS and everyone around you enables you, you get cocky.

Well Kevin Durant is heck of a player, and may well become the best player in the NBA in a couple year, but he ain't cocky like Lebron, he is really humble and work really hard on him game.

lebron did not step it up last year in the finals. he was too passive. if he had played like he plays in regular season games, the heat would have dominated the mavs.

I feel like he thinks he's too valuable to have to put 100% out there, and like you say, teams may teach him a lesson otherwise if he keeps it up.

lol also the suspension doesn't really do anything to help the popularity of the pro-am league...I think you would want to have an NBA player playing for your league than be suspended. I would have just slapped him a fine =P

Doesn't matter.  Bynum can't stay in the lineup.  It's like saying that the Blazers win with Greg Oden in the lineup.

Not sure you can take it quite that far.  Oden hasn't even made it to a playoff game.

Oden = bust

Bynum = borderline bust

Whenever big guys get some type of foot,knee, leg injury it just goes down from there.

the reason big guys aren't as effective as they used to be is that since the game started becoming about players getting huge and ripped it had a negative affect on the bodies of big men. it's just too much weight for them to carry-that's why they have gnarly foot and leg injuries. dwight howard is the exception thus far but he may start having them soon.. look at kareem and hakeem and russell, etc. long and thin= little to no injuries because they weren't carrying ridiculous amounts of weight

Interesting thought, but I disagree, just look at Shaq O'Neal, He is big and carries tons of weight, yet he dominated the league over a decade. He is one of the best center in the NBA History.

Yeah I don't think it has anything to do with being ripped. Look at Yao...he's not going to be on the cover of any weight lifting magazine and he unfortunately had to retire.
Also, Artest and Lebron are huge guys...I believe Lebron is heavier than Dwight (unofficially though...the listed weights are misconceiving) but there's no recurrent foot problems on his part.

Who are the big ripped centers in the NBA other than Dwight Howard?  Most of the guys that are heavy have been that way since they were about 10 years old, like K-Perk, Marc Gasol, Al Jefferson, Greg Oden.  There still appear to be a fair amount of tall, skinny centers, the game has just changed.  It's a guard's game.

Even the thin guys you pointed out all weighed over 250lbs. That's a lot for a human skeleton to handle when you're running and jumping and getting pushed around by other very big men. If your body isn't genetically built to handle that abuse, which most bodies aren't, there's going to be injuries just because they're just so big. Long careers for centers would be the exception, not the rule.

Wow, looks like K-Perk went on a little bender over the weekend.  As a Celtics fan, I've seen him play quite a bit, and he always seemed like a psycho, but I never heard anything bad about him until now:

Yeah I saw that. I don't think it needs to be blown out of proportions. Not as bad as some other things some other athletes have done. Maybe the dehydration got to his head or something.
