Next year I plan on going to Colorado Mountain College in Leadville,CO for their ski area operations program. I plan on becoming a trail/park groomer and I am trying to find out some info and I am having a hard time finding it. So I was wondering if anyone knows how much they earn in a year. I am just curious to see what they earn. So if know how much they earn just let me know. Thanks!!!

The classes in the program also teach you how to operate other machinery in the construction industry. |

You don't need to go to CMC for that. You can get hired as a new groomer most places and you will do a year or two apprenticeship before becoming a "real" groomer. And to get into the park will take years and years of trail grooming. The only real good thing about the program is you get on-hill experience at Copper Mountain i believe. |

How did you get this program? Did you have to apply? I've never heard of a college groomer hook-up.
