The trace should fit more easily then my bern due to the absence of the visor.

The I/Os do kind a have a bigger profile than many other goggles.  I have them and have worn them with a few different helmets and never have had a problem with them fitting.  The strap has a hinge that makes it easier to put over helmets as well.

I wear mine with my Smith helmet and it is a seemless fit.  I personally love the fit of the IO's but I have a big face.  My wife who has a smaller face did not like them as much but neither of us had any issues with the goggles and how they fit with the helmet

yeah the goggles arent that big, they appear so because of the frameless look.

Agreed, they arent that big, they just appear that way because its frameless. I just compare the size of it to my oakley A frame. And its just a BIT bigger.

I think they look bigger than they really are. I was suprised when i put them on how much smaller they were than in pictures and just sitting on the shelf.

I wear the same combo, and i agree...it fits.
Got them for the wider peripherals...then I discovered the Electric EG2...lol...oh well I'll have to wait till I need a new pair.

smith i/o will fit any helmets with no problem as it a bit smaller than my smith prodigy (i have both side by side with me right now). but the eg2 might be a problem if you have a small helmet.
hmmm... Now What???

I just tested it out with my Head sensor helmet (medium), it fit pretty well. I dont think you will have a problem with most helmets that are out there.

since you wear a large helmet, just go for the one you like the most. you won't have any problems at all.
