COD -BLack OPs- Whats the verdict-

Definitely something worth buying. Its reminds me to what golden eye used to be.

Of note: THe need Goldeneye is coming out!

Just a little correction: IW as we knew it no longer exists. IW is still around and may or may not be working on the next COD in the franchise, but some major peeps from IW formed their own studio called Respawn Entertainment.

i think its sick and i love it but i think the graphics could of been better.

Me and my room mate just finished the game last night. After you finish the campaign you unlock the zombies mode in the white house. pretty legit.

i liked the story mode better in mw2 though

Huge fan of 'GunGame' and 'One in the Chamber' are the most fun for me.

I really liked the CoD series so far...I'm just not sure about Black Ops....I heard a lot about really bad lag in MP due to the dedicated servers not being setup (configured) correctly/efficiently enough....has anyone else heard anything like this?

I dont know about this game. I got it at the midnight release and quite honestly im not that impressed. The graphics are no where near what the modern warfares are. I dont really like the kill streaks. The rc car is fun but eh. Sniping is terrible in this game. There are really no maps at all that favor sniping. The spawns can be very stupid. I would say 85% of the time I die its because I get shot in the back. That doesnt happen to me nearly as much on the other CoDs. I also dont know why people like nuketown so much. The best thing about this game is that you can play split screen online. The first modern warfare still remains the best CoD to me.

I agree sniping is terrible in this game.  To me, it seems like unless you have the best rifles, it's never a one shot kill (, kinda the point of a sniper rifle).  Also agree that graphics aren't as good.  When I was first playing the game, I was disappointed.  I like nuketown, becuz unlike everyother map in the game, with  mayb the exception of firing range and crisis (sorta), this map has some character and is unique.  evey other map seems really boring and repetitive.

bot mode is pretty legit

sprint to get the stakeout at round 5. Kick it in that room till round 8/9 and find the box!!!! re up on some danks (better guns). and get in the teleporter to upgrade em. Then it should be real fun for you and your friends. I made it to round 23 today.

i saw that deal one toys r us (amazon also) for buy one get one 40% off. was thinking about getting dead rising 2 and either Black ops or golden eye. do you guys thing golden eye will be more epic than black ops?

dead op arcade, the mini game at  the main menu. its like geometry wars with zombies.

I'm really pissed the RPD isn't in the game.  F-that.  all the usual suspects for the AR and SM classes are there, a few new ones.  As a whole, the LMG's all suck.  HK21 is decent at best.

I'm mostly rocking the standby M16 or a silenced FAL when I'm playing hardcore. 

In regular game modes, you really need to power and mobility of the AK74u.  the grip attachment makes that gun broken, IMO.

There are a few different guns that werent in the other games. You have to remember this is based during vietnam. I am still not really impressed with this game.

zombies are like massive plus cos they are so fun and also the fact that when you play split screen you dont have to level! that got me so annoyed on mw2 cos you would have to spend hrs and hrs 'boosting' on split screen so that you could have a good selections of guns and equipment.

I think a better comparison is smash tv, imagine that classic game with zombies, tanks and attack choppers.

Don't think you will unless it doesn't' run as good on your pc. Seems like most of the lag issues has been fixed for most people. I didn't like the game at first because of the way the guns sound and some other things but i'm liking it a whole lot now. Pretty much what mw2 should have been for the PC.

Are you getting this for the PC? If your on console there are no servers. Most of my games it has been lag free there are some servers that do lag severely though.

They added a lot of things. I wish they had the coop like in mwf2 though :\ Still I love the game
