Inevitable Zombie Apocalypse

I am Legend is based on a book where the monsters were vampire type things. The movie put a zombie twist on them but I still feel they are more vamp than zombie and therefore have been left out of the pole.

If the zombie apocalypse does occur, there is nowhere above ground that will be safe. Birds eat zombie flesh -> become zombie birds -> zombie disease covers the world in weeks.

Then, you are trapped in a building with not only zombies, but the living dead as well.

Most zombie movies leave the animals out of it and have it as a virus disease that infects and effects only humans. This theory really is really dependent on your type of zombie. Do your flying zombie birds attack humans? Once zombies do they retain the coordination to fly?

Cause: H1N1 Vaccines
Home Base: Costco....or the Mountains. Costco, in a Mountain town.
Defence: chainmel (the knight armor)...sharks can't even bite through that stuff
Weapons: I like arrows, reusable and quite. Dual swords like leonardo would be perfect too.
Group size:...3-23, as long as there is someone slower than me. Also at least 1 ass hole...any zombie movie I've seen they are always scarfed up by the mob

Zombieland was awesome. Shawn Of the dead was also a good movie.

-Where will you hold up- my house, located in the country with a small town close by to stock up on supplies.
-Defenses- basic house. would board up all windows/doors with wood/metals i can find. As for myself i would wear some sort of padding that zombies cant bite through when i go out.
-Weapons- currently have alot of swords, axes, bows, etc. But would like to raid a gun store if a zombie apoc broke out
-Ideal size of group your with- just my family atm and cousins. So about 12 of us. There are a couple youngings in our group so they should slow the zombies down if it ever comes to it ...oh gawd im a terrible person

I would mount a chain gun on my roof and drink beer

maybe somewhere really high up like the sky needle in seattle. That with claymores and snipers, id be good to go haha

I would say Zombieland definitely haha.

Weapon of choice, because it doesn't rely on ammo would have to be a sup sharp katana, and/or a flamethrower.  But if you're attacked by tons of zombies, a katana won't do much.

--I think it would just be a horrible Virus that causes people to go mad... Which would lead to.. Crazy Sprinting Zombies. O.o

-- I would probably hold up Underground? in like the mountains or some random spot. with some heavy steel doors (we dont want the zombies to just be able to run into the door and knock it down.)

--Defenses would be Cameras, EVERYWHERE. a long with Lazer beam hallways in the one entrance(remember the lazer beam hallway off resident evil? hahaha)

--Weapons.. Def Shotgun's (Main zombie weapon! Duh!), m4's, m16's and a variety of handguns (No revolvers...).. No swords please (How about we just don't let the Crazy zombies get close, thats why we have guns, Plus swords get stuck when you jam it into someones chest)

-- Size of group would def have to be semi small so the food source isn't affected much but not to small so you're still good if you lose someone.. So maybe 7 or 8.   and would prefer they had a military background? special operations? Navy Seals?

i thought the movie The crazies was a good representation how it would be handled. not necessarily a good movie but i like the view they take on it

the walking dead for sure. Although it seems as if he is in the hospital for a really long time that is my vote! IF you have not watched the Walking Dead, GO WATCH it now. Whatever you are doing stop and go watch it.

I think the zombie apocalipse is happening right now. Everyone is zombified thru chemicals genetic modified food and media/tv...

Initially, I would cannibalize the shed and parts of the house to board and fortify the house. Going to any where is going to be mass panic and tons of people. If you are somewhere with tons of people, you put yourself at risk of infection. And all the roads will be shot to shit.

-Defenses
Hockey and lacrosse gear should make me resistant to a lot of potential bites. I will have to be wielding a bat as there are currently no guns in the house. As time goes on I would try to acquire more substantial weapons when out on supply raids.

-Weapons
Initial - Bat
Goal - m4

-Ideal size of group your with
Between 3-6 any higher and food requirements really start going up and it becomes increasingly harder to keep tabs on everyone and move with any efficiency.

Zombieland should not have been left out of the poll

but anyway..

Cause:
Bullshit news stories about celeb's personal lives,
Female magazines about "what's hot and what's not",
Fashion magazines,
Who's sleeping with who and who's pregnant(included in female magazines),
Justin Bieber and Hannah Montana craze/hatred,
General ignorance and retardedness of people,
All of the above leading to the melting and mushing of the human mind (of those who above may include)

Hold up:
In the French Alps in an extremely large 'log cabin' fortress(think of Helms Deep made out of logs). my hope is that the freezing temperatures and extreme weather keeps at bay the majority of the zombie population as well as a quick escape (snowboarding) if my defenses were ever broke.

Defenses:
As already stated i will use the freezing temperatures to my advantage in the hope the zombies aren't clever enough to know to insulate themselves in the newest line of over priced Burton softgoods. Also the construction of my fortress will be reinforced with carbon-fiber 'I' beams due to their good strength-to-weight ratio.

Weapons:
I would firstly be-friend Optimums Prime and the other Autobots and offer them refuge in my 'log cabin' Fortress, along with Marcus Fenix and Master Chief. I would fly a F-35 fighter jet(would prefer an F-22 but everytime the Autobots seen it they would think it was Starscream and try to destroy it(counter-productive!)). Apart from the futuristic Autobots i would try to keep it relatively old-school with longbows and swords(note to self, try to be-friend Aragorn and Legolas) and maybe WW2 flame-throwers.

Group:
As already stated, Autobots, Marcus Fenix, Master Chief, (hopefully Aragorn and Legolas), as well as close family and friends.

Let the Apocalypse begin!
