hey! idk if anyone else watched the game but it was a heck of a game. i give props to auburn's defense and dryer who played a really good game. my ducks didn't win the game but they played a heck of a game to keep it close with the final score 22-19 with a last second 3 point field goal to win. At you can't say Oregon can't keep up with the best of the best. and there were some plays that could have gone different which would have made Ducks BCS Champions if played differently. but good job Auburn for a great game. till next season!

Definitely a classic...However, I rally can't stand Cam Newton. I really think that Freshman RB Dwyer is going to be something special.

Clearly the SEC is the King of the Mountain right now...5 out of 7 championships!

I took Auburn on the money line and I made money.  Ergo, it was a good game.

oh i knew for a fact is was going to be close. i mean if u look at the stats oregon is just as good if not better on the field than auburn. and darren thomas threw just as many passes with more yards and one less interception. so it was anyone's game. there were moments where the ducks should have made the play which in the end they beat themselves. and how oregon's defense kept cam newton to a minimum. and having 2 sacks on cam newton and a forced fumble by casey matthew's did leave cam newton hurt. real hurt. which is why he didnt really play as well.

I'm sick of people saying this settles the debate the the SEC is the best conference in college football. Its BS for two reasons, the BCS and the narrowness of victory for Auburn. First of all, if people's perceptions pretty much determine who plays in the big game, then people think the SEC is the best, they put SEC teams in the nat'l champ game, and when they win they confirm their belief. I think TCU could have beaten either team, and I'm not so sure Auburn could have beaten Stanford yesterday. Until there is a playoff, the SEC's dominance is just a reflection of people's opinion, i think. Also, Auburn earned their victory, but the closeness of the victory makes its hard to say "this proves the SEC is the best". Auburn could have been an inch away from OT when their running back's knee never hit the ground, and then who knows. Add to that multiple red zone trips that came up with 0 points (because of Chip Kelly's over aggression and reluctance to kick a FG) and I would say these two teams were evenly matched.

A good game overall. Better defense and less scoring than expected. I agree that the game would've been totally different if Oregon had've kicked soem FGs earlier, but that mentality prolly would've had them kicking XPs instead of going for 2 each time. Very entertaining none the less.
No Sig... I'm just not that witty or creative

It was a good game, it was close and came down to the wire with some great plays, that's really all you can ask for in a title game. Now just get that stupid playoff implemented...

It was a close well played game. Both teams left points on the field. The only number that matters is the score when the clock reads triple zeros. It doesn't matter if you win by one or a hundred. A win is a win. As far as the SEC dominance in the BCS title game, they are 7-0 if I remember correctly and champions 5 years in a row. If you want to be the champ you have to beat the champ. Rumor around Auburn is Newton hurt his back before the game if anybody cares. Good job to both teams on a great seasons!
