I was really wanting to get a new Bataleon Board but just saw a 2011 Flow Quantum on another site for 125....I wonder if I should fork over this amount now just to ass a board to the quiver.

Much better than before. burton lessened the built in forward lean on their bindings across the line for 2012.

Not a big fan of the this seasons graphics for the Ride boards.  The past few years have been much better imo.

Basically, Burton is going with a laid-back, less gadgety(is that a word?), feel this year, which is a suprise! Symetrical straps, fullCANT Auto beds, cap straps of course.

Something also to look into is the Cartel Re-flex. Asymetrical straps featured in the exiles last year, anatomical highback (leaned horizontially inward toward the center of the board), and LivingHinge(which you'll have to check out yourself to believe haha). The baseplates included in this line are the original 3 hole, Shotgun(4 hole), and ics plate(which is mounted naturally under the foot not the outsides.

Other Burton Bindings with similar specs are going to be the Malavita the diode and the prophecy. Get stoked my friend, Burton isn't exactly on a downward slope these days, you'll be confused when you see what they've been up to. haha

a lot of super awesome boards..but, all I know is that I do need to start saving up for a NeverSummer board! either the proto CT or last season's late release, Heritage..both looks so mean! my local shop is selling a demoed Heritage in super excellent condition for $370..but I'm thinking, if I add another 2 bills I get a brand new Proto..dang it..decisions!

I had the liberty of demoing the cartel re:flex. And it did have a much cooler cap strap, even though the '10 model didn't have any major issues. I'm sure the cartel also does.

For the past 2 years board graphics have looked really lame but looks like all the bad ass graphics are coming back. Lib Tech has some real dope graphics this year.

I'm patiently waiting for pics of the 2012 DC Judge boots.  Anyone have any pics???  Please post pics of the 2012 DC line of boots or hook me up with a link where I can check them out.  I know it's only a matter of a few months until all the companies will start puting out their catalogs, but my patience will only last so long.  I'm already feen'n for next seasons gear.

It's the same strap as last years prophecy, just not cored in the middle. Basically, it is industrial strength bubble wrap that eliminates pressure points and is ungodly light. Ultralight Air(TM). The only thing I am pumped about is re:flex and living hinge. I got to ride the 2012 cartel re:flex's already. Best binding i've ridden to date i'd have to say. I'm not as educated in the tech of the burton line as I should be this time around, but when we get our guides from them(which could be tomorrow or a month from now), I'll post up some info.

have you ridden last years prophecy?  are the straps pretty comfy, or are they mostly just light, or both?  the "industrial strength bubble wrap" doesn't inspire much confidence in the durability of the strap...
