the one's that show out of stock are 2008 boards, IIRC.  I saw those when I demo'd my EVO.

From what I'm told (3rd hand info: never trust it) is NS doesn't have normal vendor arrangements, it's cash up front for your order and once the press is done, it's done (like Jones Snowboards, also 3rd hand)

I don't own a shop, but I've talked to a few reps about this, hopefully someone with some first hand knowledge can drop in, but from the relatively few vendors I see of them, especially with the local stores, I'm inclined to believe it.

It's a total bummer.  I had to buy my Never Summer Evo from another site. NS boards are awesome looking boards and you don't really see them on the slopes but when you do see one it's pretty cool.

That link must have been what I read back in the day.

I was gonna say I thought it has something to do with NS carefully selecting who can sell their products.

Trusnow should talk to them again now that they don't have the physical store.
(or i think they dont have a physical store haha)

From my reading this would make them less likely to carry the products they say they like to support local shops.

I've never seen them at a local shop.  I was thinking about picking one up if I can find one at the end of the season

In Wy that is like all the shop carry not really but there was a bunch of them. But I guess it is where you live too. When I board in Seattle area, I don't see them much but holy crap there is a lot of Lib/GNU there. (I know why)  I really wanted one for a while and was trying to find a good deal (50%off) for like a year and I never found it. I had trouble finding the 30-40 off but I need a wide board, so it made it harder. On a side note I did find one of there longboard for a good deal I was super excited about that.

Couple places in Western MA stock them. I saw them at the shop at Otis Ridge, of all places, when I took my son up there to ski. But good luck on the whole end of season thing. Getting a deal on Neversummer is pretty much like getting a deal on Lib-- either you've got a really odd size, but most likely you're buying used (and even then not with "normal" used pricing discounts)

I understand that, but that stuff was from a year ago so if they feel their local shops are doing well they might be willing to let an online only store have a little business to try and get their brand to places that local shops don't carry their boards.

i am not sure, but you should def ride neversummer, they make solid boards, great flex, always a reliable board. i had an SL for 5 years and the edges are just about as sharp as the edges on my new evo

i bought one last March in Big SKY and love it. They had plenty in the store I was in. Great prices also. Paired it up with Orange burton Cartels. I am looking for a great pair of boots now, for the season.

They have. One of the biggest online store stocks them.

a) still not going to happen
b) even if TS could stock Neversummer (see A) you wouldn't be able to use your discount on current year stock
c) NS sells out (often by midseason) at most if not all retailers.

Take a look at this thread. Basically they had some negotiations but it fell apart. That was when it was when it was sierrasnowboard. They could try again but even the house board shop doesn't stock them.

Saw a Never Summer board in Big Bear this last week. Sick graphics in person. I asked the dude how it rode, and he just smiled a knowing smile. Buy American made! Peace

A.) Never going to happen. B.) If that's all you're willing to pay you're probably not going to get one new unless it's second hand from someone with buyer's remorse.

I wouldn't let my 2009 Evo go for $380.  NS is one of the few brands that (for my riding) are worth the price of admission.  bombproof and amazingly fun boards.
