My friends just came back from a trip to Tahoe and apparently N* is where it's at to go.  I think it should be dropping some snow down here as well.

Kirkwood report... About a foot in the parking lot and at least two feet up top. Not too windy. They didn't open up chair 6 until mid-day but it was awesome once they did.

went to tahoe for the first time this season, around new year time.  and oh man, that was epicness.  loved it.  more than mammoth, less than vail.  but a good time for sure!  squaw and north star some of my fav.  i think i like north lake more than south.  will most def consider going back more often.

Storm that promised a couple of feet is now looking like a few inches of wet slush. Really depressing spring so far.

Guess you just have to make the most of the bluebird days, but I'd really like one more good storm.

It rained throughout the night in Sacramento. Tahoe should have received a few inches?

7" at Kirkwood so far, and still snowing a bit throughout the day/night.  Sucks it's not the original 1-2 feet prediction.  But at least winter ain't over yet!

What???  4/14?  That's way too early.  I hear talk of storms the first two weeks of April.

I agree, 4/14 is way too early.  Spring riding is the best!  Not sure how Tahoe's Spring seasons go but we can get some great Spring dumps in CO.

Was at Sierra yesterday. Super slushy. Started to rain while we were driving down the mtn.
Just check and they're reporting 7" so far. I'll take it.
Looks like there's another system coming but that one seems weak though.

I have been too busy to see the reports on what we've got up there.  Should I plan to cut out of the office tomorrow a.m. or will I just be disappointed?

I hit up Kirkwood in April last year.  The slush actually made for a fun filled season ending day for me.  It's a different type of powder riding but hey, you can't complain that late in the season.

You couldve tried a trash bag taped inside your pants. I wouldve done everything necessary to make it if i had a chance to ride yesterday. Besides you can go after youre soaked which equates to enough time for it to track out anyways.
