I have been kite skiing for a long time and I got the itch to try a snowboard.
Any recommendations for a board that can handle a lot of crust and chop? I do most of my kiting on snow covered lakes so I have a lot of snowmobile trails to deal with. Thanks in advance. |

well you are going to want a stiffer snowboard, brand doesn't matter. Take a look at the Ride Concept, the Capita Black Death, the Burton Custom X or T7, the Nitro Pantera

Guth,
Thanks for the suggestions. I will check those out. What are your thoughts on the K2 Dark Star Wide? I was considering this board because I will be spending most of my time heel side when I am in my harness with the kite pulling me. I was also thinking of the Capita Quiver Killer as a board that I could use mainly for kiting but could also hit the slopes with. Any thoughts? Thanks agaiin |
