Scuba Diving!

Last time I went snorkeling a tuna almost bit my thumb off. I have a scar from it. I was feeding fish on a reef when a school of tuna came by, so I figured it would be cool to feed a big tuna. Yea right, they have big mouths too.

I just got certified myself. I personally don't care for instructional classes, however the scuba diving class provided by PADI wasn't actually all that bad. We did a night of classroom instruction, then a night at the pool, then another night of classroom instruction, and another night at the pool. Then on the weekend we did our open dives in the ocean.

I would say the most challenging part of the class is trying to breath from the regulator without your mask on. They have you remove your mask underwater and then put the mask back on, then you have to clear your mask of all the water. Some people had issues clearing the mask, but it's pretty easy if you pay attention.

Remember the number one rule: Never hold your breath!
