Which resorts offer free birfday lift tickets? In So Cal - Bear, Summit and Snow Valley definitely do. I ride Summit every year on my birfday. Mammoth doesnt. Any other resorts do that?

On a side note what other perks are there? I just signed up for a Benihana's Chef's Table Club. $30 towards your check on your big day.

EDIT: So far here's the summary as of 3/4/2013

YES
CA - Mountain High
CA - Bear Mountain
CA - Snow Summit (Summer Birfdays net you a ride on The Sky Chair for hiking and off-site mtn biking)
   - Update 3/4/13 - I heard a rumor that Snow Summit might be opening for Downhill Mountain Biking after being closed for 7+ years. I like local trails and driving to Mammoth sometimes. But nothing beats local, lift-assisted DH parks and trails.
CA - Snow Valley
CA - Mt Baldy
CA - Homewood
CA - China Peak    CP Details

CO - Sol Vista Basin    SVB Details

MN - Wild Mountain    WM Details

MT - Blacktail Mountain   BM Details

NV - Diamond Peak

WA - Stevens Pass
WA - Crystal Mountain

AB CA - Marmot Basin     MB Details

Maybe/Unconfirmed
ID - Lookout Pass - But they do have free ski school

Discount
NY - Belleayre Mountain 1/2 off BM Details

NO
CA - Mammoth
CO - A-Basin
CO - Copper
CO - Loveland (But you can get married at their annual marriage event and you get a 2 for 1 lift ticket for you and your future spouse)
CO - WinterPark
NH - Wildcat

Food
Benihanas - Various Locations - $30 Credit for your meal on your birthday month. Sign up well before your birthday in order to get the email in time. Meaning before the month starts as they send it at the beginning of the month.
Village Inn - Various Locations - Free Pie
Del Taco - Various Locations (Meaning cities that zone for diarrhea) - Birfday Shake - Sign up first on their website - DT Birfday Club
Denny's - Various Locations - Free Grand Slam       Denny's Grand Slam
Fuddruckers - Various Locations - Fudds Club - Nets you a birthday treat (Which I think according to MrMeaty is a burger) and a surprise on your anniversary date. (Don't know if that means relationship anniversary or anniversary from the date you signed up). Fudd Club
Steak and Shake - Various Locations - eClub - Specials on your birthday and other special occasions. (According to MrMeaty that may be a Double Burger. Thanks MrMeaty for eating out so much) SnS eClub
Ruby Tuesdays - Various Locations - Free Burger RT So Connected Club

Wildcat in NH used to do that ... not sure if they still do. I don't know of any others in New England that do.

Colorado peeps? I'm going to CO at the end of Mar/early April. Flights are so cheap I thought I'd go on my birfday too.

There is snow year 'round. But you got to go to Mammoth if they are open until then. I think Mt Hood or somewhere near there is open. Or go to the other side of the planet to get it. It's simple. Go pro and have someone pay you to ride all year long.

If you are fortunate enough to be able to board on your birthday and get a lift ticket for free you should:
1. Let us know so we can build this list
2. Thank the people/resort for the program Maybe send an email or letter.
3. Support these resorts whenever you can - bring paying peeps with you and let them know that's one of the reasons you support them.

Judging by the posts there are few places that offer this. So we should be trying to support/encourage this and maybe your favorite resort might adopt a similar program.

You can move Homewood to the confirmed YES list. I got my Bday comp over Super Bowl wknd. And although it's really no biggie, it's actually located in Cali.

I dig your other 2 suggestions. I'll fire off a quick email to 'em in a bit. And I'm hoping to make a return visit next month when my friends & I set up a multi-day trip to North Lake.

@boardaholic - I just went to Benihana's the other day for my birfday $30 meal. I maxed it out and was stuffed. They even take your picture and give you an ice cream sundae to top it off. It was lunch so we got out of there pretty cheap considering the prices. $100 incl tip for 5 people. I definitely only go there on my birfday. Food is ok for the $.

Edit: it would have been 100 without the discount. It was 28.50 less(What they counted as part of my meal).

Added some additional resorts to the ride free on your birfday list.

I haven't checked the existing ones if they still have the program. Make sure you check the website before you head up.

Chilies gives you a free Ice cream brownie sundae--but you have to sign up at their website and printout the coupon.

Del Taco gives you a large premium milkshake-but you have to sign up at their website and print out the coupon.

rurchan - if it makes you feel any better. I celebrated your birfday by snowboarding at Mammoth last year.

Chill - Thanks for the heads up. I couldnt find anything about a brifday perk but i found out just by signing up you get free queso and chili dip when you by an entree.

What's Queso? And Chili? Glad you asked.

^Sol Vista Basin in CO is on the list. My first post is updated.

Crested Butte used to do it. But i couldn't find anything on their website that indicates they still do.

If you find any add them to the list.

As I mentioned before - Make sure we support the resorts that do have free Bday tix/perks.

Hrm, I can't find any info on whether Homewood/Diamond Peak will offer a b-day free day for peeps born outside ski season.  I remember them offering this a couple years ago.  Sadly I was born in early October (likely a product of a drunken NYE hookup.  lol)

If anyone has found links about this, please post them!
