Hey, I'm going to PC Friday (TOMORROW!!) and I'm wondering what runs should I hit up? I'm think about trying a double black but I've haven't seen one so I don't know what I'm in for. Also the biggest jump I've seen is a 35 footer and I'm probably not going 2 go on Kings Crown.

True story. Don't go to PC, stay with mac! In all honesty though, take it as you see it. Depending on where you are from, you might want to work up from a circle or square just so you get used to their terrain then go to a double black |

We just got ten inches this week. I went to pc yesterday. And probably again tomorrow. Ive been having a lot of fun on the terrain off of silverlode lift. Jupiter is the best lift for some serious double black diamond terrain. If the kings crown park is too big, there's another engineer park off of king kon lift that has some sweet features

When my brother's friends went to PC last year, it was pouring snow like crazy so they were able to build their own ramp and tried out new tricks while landing on 3 ft of pow. I think the snow should be decent but not the best since it hasn't snowed, but who knows because a storm should be coming soon.

People from socal claim it because it's the closest thing they have to consistent, real snowfall (and it's a world class mtn). Fact is, mammoth is practically on the same lattitude as San Fransisco...LA being over 300 miles (5+hr drive) to the south |

Yeah, who wants to pay for the Mac software anyway? I like downloading software and games for free, personally.

Macs are over priced, nothing like paying $1200 for celeron processor.

I just bought a cheapie HP laptop. I payed $499 for one with an i3 processer, which I was stocked about, but I was reminded getting it all set up how easy and ready to go a Mac is. Just know what you are looking for as far a dependability and ease vs. price, expansion and limitless capabilities. If money wasn't a factor. I would definitely buy a Macbook Pro. But since it is, I went with the PC.
btw...I love that this didn't start as a computer discussion. |
