Stereotypes

What are some of the general stereotypes out there?

Snowboarders are all in gangs of course, but thats hardly a stereotype since we are so street.  

Yeah, I would say the stereotype for snowboarders is they are a bunch of punk lowlife kids.  Skiers are more the upper class stiff people.

snowboarders are awesome ppl from where i am from

boarders wear belts to sag their pants.

boarders enjoy they have less pieces of equipment to carry and their boots don't make them walk as weird as skiers. but it seems like snowboarders get more of the rebel stereotype

Boarder actually look cool when they do tricks. Skiers can't 50-50 rails.

Skiers can't carry their speed to overcome hills, that's why they need poles.

They block tight runs when they loose speed. 

They think they are the fastest things on the mountain.

They do not believe in right of way. It's either the skiers way or no way.

They never, ever look around them.  Even when yelled at.  Even when dead stopped on a 2ft wide run.  They have no sense of surrounding or that they are actually sharing the mountain with other people. 

Snow plowing is an acceptable practice on 2tf wide runs.  So is stopping to on the 2ft wide run to look at the pretty scenery.

The half pipe is the perfect place to practice slalom turns.  It's also the best place to watch your 2 year old learn how to snow plow. 

The jumps to rails are not meant for riding rails, but for skiers to zoom by cutting everyone off, get in the tuck position, and then fly off the lip spread eagle style in the complete opposite direction of the  feature.  Then tuck for the next one.

Everyone get past hating each other...I'm a skier and you don't see me bitching about how snowboarders sit in the middle of the trail and yadda yadd...everyone needs to relax with the hate because you know what its all the same sport and both skiers and snowboarders can kill it just as hard all over the mountain

Both of them call in sick to work a lot when it snows.

Also the 15 year old that has profited $2k selling some t-shirts that say buttery to his friends. Any clown with internet access and a credit card can start their own "t-shirt business".... speaking of which, where the hell is MyFB shirts i was told about!!!!!
