they are all in teh same category. both will work, just get the one that you like more and that doesn't distort your image too much. ie, brown makes my head dizzy

amber and yellow are different.
Yellow is very yellow.
Amber is more brown kinda haha.
I have had pretty decent luck with yellow lenses.
They are supposed to be the best for flat light conditions but flat light sucks no matter what you're wearing.

you basically said nothing
yellow and amber lens will work for night riding. yellow is more towards the night specific so it would be better overall |

you said yellow lens are yellow and amber are amber. what are you saying that aint obvious.
what l said aint correct? yellow is more for night right then amber which is an all-around? obviously its 2 different lens thats why they are name differently

Some one up above said yellow and amber is the same.
I pointed out that an amber lense is more of a brown vs yellow being actually yellow.
And yellow is more for flat light than night as far as i know. Maybe it is equally flat and night.
also aint makes you sound smart.

Ain't is a colloquialism and contraction for "am not", "is not", "are not", "has not", and "have not" in the common vernacular. In some dialects ain't is also used as a contraction of "do not", "does not", and "did not". The usage of ain't is a perennial issue in English. Widely used by many people, its use is nevertheless commonly considered to be improper.[1]
if you dont know what a contraction is then thats so sad for you

I use Hi-yellow oakley for both day and night riding. Works out great. The persimon wouldnt be a bad choice either.

Yellow also gives me a headache before too long. Clear lenses are what you want for night riding.

I use Oakley Hi-Yellow for dark conditions in the day or whiteout conditions, but use Clear for night riding.

I would go with a clear lens. Hah, helps that the clear lens is way cheaper than any other lens. Clear is like ~50-60% the price of a hi-yellow. oakley's anyway...
When I wanna check info about any oakleys lens, I always go to http://www.o-review.com/lens.asp first. Cool place to read about different lenses whether its for boarding, hiking, biking, etc. And wow, are there people seriously arguing grammar on a forum? People still do that? ![]() |
