well you can't get a new scope right now unless you know someone who hasn't used theirs.

The sierra scope is pretty much a capita horrorscope but i think they added carbon stringers.

The reverse crew i think is like one of burtons boards.

If your going to get a sierra scope your going to have to find a used one... The best place to find one would probably be the buy sell forums here.  Both are great boards for pretty much the same riding style.
I make handmade longboards PM me for info.

reading the description and reviews of each board would tell you everything you need to know.

I couldn't tell you pro's and con's...just because you can't really say it's a pro to have a sintered base if what you want is extruded.  Or maybe it's pro that they are a 4x2 channel setup vs ICS...maybe you have est bindings?  ya know achmed?

the sierrascope is actually a capita indoor survival, in the shape and graphics of the horrorscope.

both reverse crew and scope are 'do everything you want' decks.  just different types of reverse camber profile.

the reverse crew rocker profile gives you full edge contact when you stand on it, but can be pretty loose at the tips and turny at the middle because its so easy to unweight the tips.  im personally not a fan of the v-rocker style for that reason.

FK may have lifted tips to start, but its really mellow, and i find the flat section under foot, especially with carbon, to be really stable and smooth and surprisingly not as loose.

that being said, its 100% preference and youre never going to know until/unless you ride both.

and yes the sierrascope is literally an indoor fk from 2010 in the shape of a horrorscope, its not a horrorscope.  the reverse crew is a 2011 burton process.

reverse crew has v rocker, a super shallow V where the rocker point is right in the middle.  sierrascope has FK, flat under the bindings, slightly lifted tips after the bindings.

Thanks spenser, I would have to buy both boards to tryout to see which one I like which isn't in the budget, so I guess I'm stuck with which ever one I choose.

I guess you didn't read my post.  Best of luck to which ever board you choose.  Also, Sierrascope is out of stock, so as other members said, if you find a sierrascope, it's more likely used.

I see you changed your avatar.

Spencer description is really good...use that as a guide as far as preference goes.  I owned a sierra reverse crew and I found the ride to be as he described so I was not a fan...but like he said you might like that feel.

what.

Neither of them said a reverse Crew "likes to wash out."  What Spenser said is that it feels more turny in the middle between the feet.  A Sierrascope will turn more from the contact points.  If these terms mean nothing to you then flip a coin and pick one.

FK from capita was the first rocker ive ever tried.  and personally i like it better than v rocker too.  it feels more stable to me, while still playful its not overly loose which is how i feel on the reverse crew.

like stated by kim, if youre really unsure.  go with the one u like better, whether that be based on graphics or price point etc.
