Wisconsin riding >30degrees

I'm really hoping to board this weekend, probably at Alpine Valley. I'm worried about driving 90 minutes and getting crappy snow on the hill though. Can anyone tell me from experience how Alpine valley or other similar <500ft midwest hills are in terms of snow when the weather is like it is supposed to be this week.

Tuesday - Cloudy - 33-37
Wednesday - Drizzle - 38-44
Thursday - AM showers - 34-53
Friday - Windy - 20-39
Saturday - Partly Cloudy - 27-33
Sunday - Partly Cloudy - 26-37

Also, would saturday or sunday be a better day to ride?

You'll be fine anywhere you go... it won't be icy if it's that warm this weekend. I'm from Wisconsin orginally. When it's around 30+ things are great... so get out there and ride all weekend. Alpine is just tiny and gets busy... but 2 high speed quads for 200ft vert... see the midwest resorts thread for commentary on all the different places.

after it hitting over 60 degrees today...im just depressed

i know! for a few mins i kicked around the idea of driving up to Duluth because it hasnt been so warm, but its a long drive. I think they are getting snow this weekend. all i want is a few more runs before the wet slushy brown goop comes with spring

If we don't get more snow here over the next week or so, I think I'm gonna suck it up and drive to the UP...if my tax return comes back before then, that is. haha

Just went to alpine yesterday. really nice park tight now. their handrail at the top is so sick. round up rail to like a 5 foot drop.

Its not busy on a weekday especially a weeknight. I refuse to go there on a weekend.

Riding this Sunday at Tyrol on my new Park Pickle!!! So excited and keeping my fingers crossed for a decent dumping on Saturday.

While closer to Chicago than DH, Wilmot is smaller. The runs are over much quicker. I believe Sunday is the last day for Wilmot. Not sure when DH will be closing.

I was at Alpine Valley today. Slushy riding that got worse as the day went on. They will be closing this weekend, too.
