Yeah, my operating system HD is only like 75 gigs which is close to full only off programs alone so didn't have 15 gigs free space and my new motherboard only has one IDE so I couldn't plug my secondary HD in so I had to buy a new SATA HD, 2T for 99 bucks woot!

I finally finished the expansion pack final act for Dibalo 2 last night. I'm now ready to start diablo 3!
Oh, and the torchlight beta ends today. It's not bad. Pretty much diablo light. I can play it with my kids on my lap and they don't get freaked out...very cartoonish.

i remember a time, when a good game came once a year... there would be one awesome game, you would buy it, and you would play it all year long... you could invest all your time and energy into one plot, and really enjoy it. now, games are being spit out like no other. and when they go on sale, i HAVE to buy them... now i have like 10 games sitting at home that i haven't touched...
i need to either clone myself, or quit work, or something... can the gaming industry just stop trying to make a profit, and spend more time on making a really good game... please?

I have no problem buying old games from the discount bin long after they were popular...as long as they are single player. My biggest issue is I'll get into a multiplayer game, then the next year they come out with a new one. The old one is still great, and my characters are leveling up, but all my friends are now playing the new one, so I'm left with no one to play online with. Worse yet is haveing a few achievements left that require online play that I will never get because no one is online anymore...

I just picked it up this Tuesday so only have an hour or 2 in and my character is only level 9, just beat skeleton king, so I can't really say. What I CAN say is that I like the auto level system much better then in D2 where I would assign points to skills just to find out later that I hated and would never use that particular skill.

I've had Diablo3 for a week now and have 2 characters (barbarian and monk) each at level 27 and halfway through act 3. About 20 hours with each character. Need to decide soon if I will continue my character into the next difficulty level or start from the begining with a new class once I finish the story...

Joystixx game bar in Hooters Hotel/Casino brought us back to do Rock Band every Friday night in June from 8 to 10. We usually go later, but now they have a DJ, and she wanted to switch from 11-3 to 10-2, so they cut an hour off our time. We still get paid the same.
Funny thing is, we had the joint packed, played till 10:30, and the second we packed up, the joint emptied out! Hopefully we can talk them into letting us go till 11 or 12 and get paid more cash. Really can't beat getting paid to host Rock Band parties! LOL!

One of the peices can only be obtained from Act3 in nightmare. I've finshed normal mode wtih 2 characters now and decided to go through with 2 new characters, so I will have 4 level 30 characters to choose from. But I'm not digging the wizard and demon hunter so much. I'm not much of a ranged fighter. I may end up going through with my monk just so I can unlock "Whimsyshire"

Turns out you can get all pieces on the normal difficulty. That level is super funny. My daughter walks by and says "Hey, that's pretty" Then I start slaughtering everything and she says "That's not so pretty anymore" LOL!
So how much Diablo have you all had? I am in ACT 3 on Nightmare with my level 45 Monk and my level 42 Barb. My level 30 Demon Hunter and level 30 Wizard have only finished the game on normal difficulty. So a little over 100 hours total. I have friends who have played though and gotten level 60 on a single character and say they are going to stop playing now and are all bitter. I'm still biding my time till the PvP arena opens.
