Back in December we hit the line of the 'sparelane'/'flightlane' in Belgium.
It was iced up and super slippery. We instantly went into a slip.
Four swings later we're on our side losing our velocity by sliding over the asphalt. Fortunately no one hit us nor did we hit anything. No cars, no guardrail.

Luckily no one was seriously injured. Only a minor shoulder injury occurred.

Drive safely!

I still remember some things from my driving book. Instead of just drive safe do this if your in a skid. Turn your wheels into it instead of away.

Some further explanation.

My 5 friends and I were in there, yes.
The damage was mostly to the car and the skibox.

All in all we were extremely lucky.

Considering the RV we drove, I don't think we could've done it much better. Nice read though, those eHow articles.

Haha, that reminds of that drive safe info commercial where this guy thought he was all tough driving all fast but everyone he saw while driving kept looking at him and laughing and doing the hand gesture that he has a small penis.

Lucky no one got hurt so your season just isn't over yet!  A car accident to go boarding ended my season last year.
Sessions sucks hairy monkey balls, the end.

He was too busy locking his "friend's" boards up to look at the date.

2 years ago my cousin John died in a car crash. he wasn't wearing his seat belt, took his eye of the road to wind up the window, the car hit the ditch on the side of the road and the car went onto it's side. he died by his head hitting the road surface.
Your seat belts are there for a reason guys..use them!
