Wow Eldora is far from our best mountain so if you enjoyed that you will love:

Copper
Keystone
Breck
A-Basin
Steamboat is awesome I hear but I have never been there.

Glad you had a great time, it has been a great season for snow this year.

Eldora is definitely one of the weakest in Colorado. Next time, definitely come ride Keystone, Breck, Copper, Beaver Creek and especially all 5,200+acres at VAIL!

Steamboat and Aspen are about 3ish hours out from Denver, but sick!
If you hit the other side of Colorado, go to TELLURIDE! Dreams come true there.

When I went to Coloroda this past December, I visited Vail, Aspen Highlands and Snowmass.

I have to say, I don't know what all the hype is about Vail.  It's possible that I need to have spent more time on the mountain to understand the terrrain and where to go....  But I thought that it was absolute crap.  Most if not all the runs I went on involved a lot of traversing because the slope of the mountain wasn't in the same direction as the lift......  Expensive skier's mountain IMO....

Snowmass was by far the best of the 3.  Awesome runs whether there was pow or not.  The only complaint is that the best runs always dumped you out on the longest, flattest parts of the mountain... mostly had to unstrap and walk.

Dude Eldora is a small hill compared to the other major ski resorts. Vail is HUGE! Keystone and Breck are also awesome as long as you don't go on a Saturday during March. Winter Park is pretty good though.

Vail is AMAZING! However, you need to know where to go! Ask a local boarder when you go, otherwise you'll spend half your day traversing.

Agreed, that is what college is for.  As long as you still focus on school and take care of you $hit, there is no reason you can't party your ass off and still graduate with honors,  I did.

….right. I heard hell ain’t a bad place to be either. Definitely take the advice of someone who has ‘heard’ a place is nice. Not that you’ll be basing where you live off of suggestions given in a thread.

The fact that you suggested living in UT over CO clearly shows you have no idea WTF you are talking about.  Does Utah have great snow, of course.  Ddo you have to deal with a lot of other BS 6 months out of year when they aren't open? You bet your ass.

I have lived half my life in each state, trust me I know.

You think you have small mountains? Try living in South Carolina. Very short ski time around here. Thats why regular trips out west are needed. hit Beaver and Vail last year. Some of the best boarding I have ever come across. Second only to tahoe a few months back during the snowpocalypse.

Ha, that would have been the problem.  I probably wouldn't have focused on school.  The whole "no financial aid" was probably the biggest part though.  But oh well who knows, done and graduated now, so not like it matters.  Still had some great times, and got to snowboard at good ol' snowshoe WV, the tiny mountain that it is.
