Trump is the only man that could make run a casino to bankruptcy.

And most existing presidents running for re-election fundraise their entire term. Obama will have a crazy bankroll.

I think he is doing whatever hes doing just for publicity. I doubt he will actually run.

We did see an Obama v Trump at the correspondents dinner! If you haven't seen it then please do. Eff it I'll post it here. Obama gave him just the amount of seriousness he deserved. I'm pretty sure you meant an actual debate, but I still wouldn't expect it to stray too far from this:

Lets also not forget that he also started bombing another country that was no threat to our country. Didn't everyone claim the last President did that? I guess it is okay though since Obama is not a Republican.

As for him "catching" Bin Laden, all he did was give the okay. This was years in the making. Yes I will say good job to him for not giving up looking but he does not deserve all the credit.

Good point, but who got us in this mess in the first place...BUSH ADMINISTRATION.
-Everyone tries to throw all the blame on Obama.  He wasn't given much to work with and he's trying to dig us out of a big hole.

Maybe he could be doing some stuff differently but it's hard to have all the right answers.

Blah blah blah blame Bush blah blah. Come up with something new cause that line is getting old.

Would have been nice to clone Regan and bring back an honest hard working president who is for the people. Those days are long gone.

Trump has no chance and is only doing this for publicity (or to sell another book).

More than a third party, I would prefer a different voting system that didn't require tactical voting, aka 'the lesser of two evils'.  Something like Instant Runoff, or even a shift towards proportional representation would be preferable to what we have now.

yep def agree, we shouldnt blame bush for the countries mess which many people before, during and after had a part in.  likewise we should not give so much credit to obama for following through on getting bin laden, when many people before and during did the bulk of the work.

well l mean if bush handled 911 better that could have been alot of changes. like l understand something needs to be done but starting war and spending $$ against an underground society where there is no way to neutralize them all or identify them for that say. but lets not get into the various options but l'm just saying there could have been other actions

I'm not trying to put all the blame on BUSH. I'm just saying he didn't help us out too much.
-Obama may not be making all the right economic choices but at least he isn't burying us under for good.
-Cutbacks may help to a extent but we need to keep putting stimulus money into our economy and keep producing new projects that will help Americans get back to work. (Green energy projects/ Energy independence)

Okay first of all, i am not an obama supporter i will say that first, but i believe that our war efforts are justified as we are trying to protect our citizens. Did you know that when the CIA looked into Osamas hard drives they found a plot for the 10 year anniversary of 9/11? they were planning on bombing the subways, in New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, DC, and many other major cities. If this was succesfull they would have in fact sunk those cities and killed thousands if not millions of Americans. There were also plots on the White House and Capital Building.

As for the debt situation goes we need someone who is going to bring American Industry back and is pro oil, there is no possible way we can diminish our debt without becoming semi independent, yes the wars are a big factor in our National Debt but remember the country was in debt before Bush, and due to the bush tax cuts the United States at one point under the bush admin. was able to repay all of the national debt, but bush chose not too and put it towards the war, knowing that we would be in this boat. With war debt is inevitable, what we have to do is minimize the debt. The guy who promises to do that is who i vote for.
It comes and it goes, get it while it lasts.

The kid is 19 years old and is probably too busy humping kangaroos down under to come up with decent logic, so no surprise there.

I don't care for Obama but I agree with some who say he didn't really have much to work with.  I just hope we get someone in the white house who will do the right thing and who can turn things around.

I'm liking the bickering going on back and forth right above my post.  That is awesome!!ClapLOLClap

I think Obama is being unfairly blamed for a lot of things. For example, I have heard people say that it is his fault for the entire worlds gas prices being high...I don't buy that for a second lol

Haven't you heard: Obama drilled up all the oil back in the 70's.  So he's directly responsible for oil prices.

I think the biggest determiner of this election will actually end up being the youth vote. It seems like there is a huge issue with youth (so really my age group) voting on anything. I guess we'll see what happens though...as long as Donald Trump doesn't have a chance im happy hahah

Last time it was the youth vote that got Obama over Clinton, not sure that works the same for republicans though heh... And yes anything that keeps trump away and OUT is a good thing. He must be totally bored with his business empire and that crappy tv reality show he ran.

I actually think that the electoral college needs to be done away with.
- When Al Gore was running against Bush, Al Gore actually won the peoples vote. However, the electoral college voted for Bush. Therefore, many americans felt cheated out of their right to vote

Gingrich's chances just went from slim to none.  With all the "viable" hard-right Republican candidates out, Romney is going to waltz to the nomination, and then lose in the general since not too many people really want to vote for him.  Teabaggers hate him because of his health care plan, fundies hate him because he's mormon, and most everyone else hates him because he's Mitt Romney.

But he really does pull off a middling "Republican John Kerry" sort of vibe that I think the Reps are eventually going to settle for as their best shot of winning the general.  Not only that, he's got the infrastructure set up from his last campaign run, fundraising skills, and a ton of favors to call in from ceding the last nomination to McCain relatively earlyish.

Romney will win against Obama, regardless if tea baggers and right wingers hate him.
Who do you think they'd rather have, socialist Obama or Romney?

Unfortunately, that's the quagmire our presidential system is in right now, vote for the "lesser of two evils", quite sad really.

Atleast Romney is a businessman who knows wtf he is doing, so he'll atleast help turn the economy around.

Romney a businessman...LOL. Maybe with Romney, Romneycare, oops, I mean "Obamacare" will finally get set in stone. Christ, the way Mit flip flops, maybe we'll get the single payer system we deserve.

Beyond the excessive cursing, I really think that Tall Tee has a chance.

The Donald was never running, it was a ploy to boost lack luster ratings of the apprentice, and secure a better deal from NBC for next season.
