I've had this model (although it's branded Dakine) for over a year and really like it. No complaints at all.

the base cleaner is also sold on the website. otherwise, i've heard, on another thread in the forum, you can use simple clean (safe for the environment too!). choice is yours, since the website selling you a discount isn't bad anyway

thanks for sharing, i just placed my order for one.
I ordered it to be picked up @ a local store, so that saves the shipping cost and allow me to run in to pick a good wax gel for my board as the season is about to be over for me.

there's another person with the title "got wax" who's selling wax at a nice price if you need that. that's my plan...after i figure out my board needs it, good brands, differences, MSRP, and sale rates

I just bought $89 of turning stuff.  I love deals like these, especially when my savings is more than my order cost.

The point is that regular irons vary in temperature from one minute to the next.  If you want a consistent temp you need a specialized iron.

budash speaks the truth but i've also heard of success in using a cheap-o-iron doing  the trick.

if you want, i can link you the MEANS to obtain an iron for free, which entails running an auto-searcher off your web browser where you accumulate amazon giftcards (i made about $220 or so), but for the sake of not being a bastard, i won't post it on the forum. PM me if you want the details >:D
