now, this may sound like a dumb question but i really dont know what a
Sierra Board Sleeve is. i see that they give one away every day, is it just a protective sleeve that goes over your board while it is in storage or something? is it totally useless if you have a bag? i tried to search for it but found nothing. |

its a storage bag that you keep your board in. you can travel with it but doesn't offer much protection |

its just a package for you to store it or travel with. if you stuff the bag with your board and clothing, it works as a traveling bag. BUT airline might not accept it because they require hardcasing or something

^^yep, dont expect protection from it being chucked around. it can protect from small rock and scratches but unless you load up with clothing, basically no effect

its basically just a transport bag for your board and gear for when you dont wanna tear up the back of your car, or for when you wanna keep your board and gear all in one place and safe when taking the bus.

I won one about a month ago, and it is really nice to have, it's big enough to fit my 63W board my boots between the bindings and my pants and jacket on the outsides of the bindings.

I use mine every time I go. Fits my board/bindings, boots, helmet, snowpants, and jacket all in the 1 bag. Size 158 board, and I think it was a 168 bag?

The bag only comes in one size but it's pretty big. No real padding though so wrap the board with clothes.

been said before in this thread but ill say it again cause obviously reading the whole thread is too hard Its mainly to protect the back of the car from your board whether it be water from melting snow stuck on board or edges of the board scratching up the interior also an easy way to store and carry around the house |

I got one from the 'free gifts with purchase' offer. I store my board, boots, clothes, gloves and helment in mine. It is great for throwing it in the back of my truck and heading off. I wouldn't use it to check my board in with an airline. They are hard enough on real luggage.
