   What are your thoughts on riding the resort after they are closed if there is still snow?  

My hill's website says they are closed, but then it says they are not maintaining it, so back country skiing/boarding is at your own risk.

I thought that would be entering private property, but I guess the resorts don't actually own the hills?  They just lease the right to run a resort on government land?  maybe?
